This translation makes it clear:

(CLV) Isa 30:15

For thus says my Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and in trust shall your mastery come; Yet you are not willing to hear.

I don't like those translations that blot out our Father's name from his word. Yahweh is not the author of confusion.

And as you can plainly see the commandments and the ordinances are 2 separate things. Jesus blotted only the handwriting which was contained in the ordinances

And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

This passage is clearly referring to Christ... no created angel would allow Joshua to worship him or b able to consecrate ground as holy. The same pre-incarnate Christ that was in the burning bush... but notice he calls Himself a captain of the Lords host. The archangel is the head of the angels, just as the captain is... just as Christ is.

This is one of three clear Biblical witnesses of Christ being Michael... just as Christ is Emmanuel... just as Christ is Shiloh

A very tough topic, the identity of the Christ.

I will let WailingWall answer for himself but ther is no contradiction as Jesus is the ARCHangel... not an angel.

Jesus is not an angel or even an archangel, Jesus is God, Jesus is YHWH.

The Hebrew word for angel is "malach," which means messenger rather than an angel as such.

Jesus was greater than the angels and that includes one or more archangels.

Hebrews 1:13
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”?

Jesus can appear as an angel or a man, but that does not mean He is an angel.

Joshua 5:14,15

That is YHWH, the ground is holy, you can substitute Lord instead of commander in this passage if you wish.

Even them (us gentile STRANGERS mentioned in Ephes.2) will He bring to His holy mountain, if we should take hold of His sabbath covenant. Jesus will bring us to the 1000yr period of rest. I just love Day of the Lord scriptures. If everyone would first go see the events of that day {and believe them} there would be no discussions on this subject.

EXODUS 31 [16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the SABBATH, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT.

The above scripture points to one of those covenants spoken of in Ephes.2

ROMANS 1 [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] without understanding, COVENANTBREAKERS, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

And you can see who Paul lumps in with the covenantbreakers. Not good company

Well Klute. Dont know what to tell ya. The SDAs also believe they are goin to heaven at the 1Cor15 event. They are not. What they believe about the weekly sabbath....they got that right

Theres THE DEAD IN CHRIST who rise first (1Thes.4). The first resurrection. Are they the resurrected Saints you are refering to? But..... there not headin for heaven.

Its the gathering of Gods people, THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE AT HIS COMING. The gathering will be done in the twinkling of an eye. Not by public transit. And were all headin for the land of Israel as promised in the Word.

[24] And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Verses 26 and 27. “And so shall we ever be with the Lord” {1Thes.4 v17}. Its quite obvious that 1Thes.4 and Ezek.37 are speaking of the same event. No so called rapture to heaven. But the gathering of Gods people to the kingdom

Why did Jesus say before He was ascended that in His Fathers house there are many rooms and that He was going there to prepare a place for us? Where did Jesus go when He ascended?

Just as a FYI, Adventists don't believe we will spend eternity in Heaven (the abiding place of God). The description of the new Jerusalem in Rev 20:10-27 which is currently in Heaven, is our destination after the resurrection where we will dwell with Christ for the 1000 years Satan is bound to this desolate earth for it's Sabbath. After this period of time, we, in the city, descends from Heaven and is forever planted here on this earth and after the lake of fire destroys the wicked, will be made new for us to dwell forever.

The many mansions? Its the new Jerusalem that is brought to this earth and where we shall dwell

When in the timeline of events do you read that the new city comes down? Immediately after we have met Jesus in the air? Or at some future time?

When the LAST trumpet is blown. Its a MYSTERY!

MYSTERY—last trumpet {it shall sound} – The LAST one! – No more trumpets to be blown – Its the LAST trumpet!

REVELATION 8 [1] And when he had opened THE SEVENTH SEAL, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. [2] And I saw the SEVEN ANGELS which stood before God; and to them were given SEVEN TRUMPETS.

Seventh angel has a trumpet. It shall sound. Its also the LAST one to be heard. Its also AFTER the trib period

REVELATION 10 [7] But in the days of the voice of THE SEVENTH ANGEL, when he shall begin to sound, THE MYSTERY OF GOD SHOULD BE FINISHED, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

MYSTERY SOLVED! The seventh angel begins to sound. This is the LAST trumpet you find being blown in the bible

REVELATION 11 [14] The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. [15]And THE SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD ARE BECOME THE KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

As i said before, we do not flit off to heaven at the 1Cor.15 event. As the seventh angel sounds the trumpet the kingdoms of this world are to become the kingdoms of the Lord {the new city}and thats where the Lord will bring us after meeting Him in the air. His kingdom
