I don't have the Father's Love

A lot of Christians tell me that it is wrong to obey God out of fear. I guess that's because I don't understand God. I don't understand his love and I don't understand his kindness.

I will admit I enjoy sin. But I don't want to sin any more because I fear his wrath and his punishment. I just don't understand why God threatens us with hell if we continue to disobey him. I feel very rebellious when somebody tells me that it is wrong to obey God out of fear.

But I realize that I don't have the love of the father in me. When it comes to hell, I get extremely angry, but at the same time I accept it. I know that there's nothing we can do about it. I am not the judge. But I just hate the fact that people will go to hell. And they may even go to hell because they obeyed him out of fear and not out of love. And you know what that maybe me. I have submitted my life to Christ today again for the billionth time. I really want to turn from my sin. I don't believe that I can continue to sin an end up in heaven. But I do have some besetting sins that I need to turn away from because I know that it will send me to hell. And to be perfectly honest the only reason why I submitted my life to Jesus is because I am sick and tired of going to bed scared that I could die and wake up in hell.

Hi buddy, I am a christian and I also have that fear but just remember that God loves you very much and He sent His one and only Son to die for you. I just want you to know how much you are loved and that Jesus will always be with you. God bless and Jesus is Lord.

You ready to get saved right now man, you have a contrite and willing heart to repent, all you have to do is believe sins were forgiven on the cross and He resurrected three days later, boom you're saved if you can manage to believe it enough to forgive yourself of sin after Jesus already did

You are now in a place where you are starting to properly judge sin. Only problem is, it's too harsh of a judgement .... since a Holy Judge decided His life was worth yours ..... are you a better judge of your own sins than He is? You have to find that judgement of forgiveness and hold on to it in faith because it makes more sense to receive judgement since we deserve it

It's time to get you in the Kingdom, you believe Jesus has the right to judge how He wants right? He's holy, His choice is written in stone. You're forgiven, believe it and confess it and accept the Holy Spirit and pray for the renewing of your mind

Thank you very much. I do believe. I just question my salvation. I don't think I could ever say that I am truly saved. I wish I had the authority to say that. But I can't save myself. All I can say is I know that Jesus Christ is Lord. I am just struggling to obey him. And it's because I don't have the father's love. And that is what I need to seek.

Father, thank You for Your written Word. I pray this one will learn what it says that address what he has posted. "Fear" is sometimes an old word for "worship." May that sink in for him. You don't threaten people with hell. You warn them of hell. The first can be malicious. The second is done out of love.
Introvert seems to have his heart in the right place, but his head needs some correcting. So much false doctrine out there that can confuse people. Sometimes we just misinterpret things on our own. May we keep studying Your Word, with a teachable spirit before the teaching of the Holy Spirit, and allow Him to teach us more perfectly. Acts 18:26; Luke 24:45. May Introvert come to a correct understanding of Your revealed, written Word, and thereby have peace and confidence in these areas he has mentioned. Amen.

The sin won't just dissapear forever, but you have to want it to. The Father's love comes with the Holy Spirit

Father, bless Jesse as he seeks to follow You. I ask You to give him a boost of encouragement and open his eyes to Your great love for him. Give him Your power to fight his sin nature, and help him understand that we are all fighting the fight of faith along with him. Help Jesse not see himself as a lesser Christian but to realize that every one of us battles our sin nature, and that none of us understands the depths of Your love and kindness. We are all learning along with him, step by step as we follow You. Even the apostle Paul battled his sin nature (Romans 7:14-25), and even he did not have full understanding of Your love while he was here (1 Corinthians 13:9-13). I pray that You would give Jesse a view of himself through Your eyes. Let him rejoice in Your love for him, and be encouraged by the work You are doing in him.
