Perhaps the sexual abuse and sexual harassment scandals will cause her to jump into the top tier of potential Democratic hopeful for the 2020 nomination, due to her prominence with the issue? I must admit, Kirsten is very good looking. Maybe that would help her win some of the usual male Republican voters?

She's an opportunist. She changed her "A" rating with the NRA to an "F" to side with Shumer to get his endorsement for NY Senator. She's been involved with both Clintons' fundraisers over the years. I don't trust her one bit. She never spoke out about Bill's extramarital affairs but she took their money raised for her, now all of the sudden she's a champion of women's rights. What about the women in Bill's past? Not one word. She's a hypocrite.

Which shows how finicky those NRA ratings are...it's sad that people actually give the NRA ratings any consideration at all when voting.

Anyone who doesn't fall inline with their agenda fully...any deviation whatsoever, gets you an F from them.

Ted Strickland (who I'm not even necessarily a fan of) felt the "A to F" sting from them because even though he's pro concealed carry, opposed the ban on semi-automatic rifles, opposed the bill that would've allowed gun-makers to be sued when their products were misused, and is an avid hunter.... he dared to vote the wrong way on a waiting period bill once and voiced support for closing the private sale loophole so now he's an "F".

People need to really research these things and not let lobbying groups tell them who to vote for just because said lobbying groups happen to tell them what they like to hear.

NRA stopped getting my money years ago. The 2nd Amendment Foundation is a much more reputable gun rights organization.

Wow!

Talk about a sexist remark which turns a woman into a mere object. Aren't we focusing on abilities?
Well, it was a compliment and human nature being what it is, good looks is a mild plus for a candidate running for office. Some say that it helped Kennedy in 1960 and that it helped Bill Clinton in 1992. I am not saying that we should vote for someone solely on their looks, as that would be goofy. However, if we get to the point where one cannot even say someone is attractive, then we are in a very bad place.

Yeah, look how well it worked last year...

...when it was actual news.

She's got her eye on higher office and will do anything to get there. No principles at all. Her transition to progressive was at breakneck speed. Was "honored" to campaign with Bill Clinton only last year; now says he should have resigned. Made a sudden point of being foul-mouthed when the Dem electorate was irate over the Trump election.

Sounds very familiar. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have her husband's legacy to ride on.

Beat me to it.

They spent three days on the President saying the same thing about a lady.

I don't know about the good looking part of that, but there shouldn't be any doubt about why she is stirring the pot now. She IS intending to run in 2020. Unfortunately for her, her other grandstanding efforts have fizzled, so she probably won't get nominated running on the slogan "I'm a woman. That's good enough."

Considering the fact that Hillary won the Popular Vote by 3 million, I suppose that this will give encouragement to some Dem women to throw their hat in the ring in 2020. Elizabeth Warren's name is the one that pops up most often.

I'm guessing that if you had written that she's fairly good looking but that's about all she has to offer, it might have seemed more realistic.

Indeed. And expect a few more in addition. Every hatemonger will see 2020 as their time.

A definite improvement over the last two that represented the two major parties.

Bill Clinton hasn't been president for almost 17 years.

Bill Clinton hasn't been president for almost 17 years.

Did you completely miss the part in the post which referred to her complete silence about Clinton over the past months when Democrats were accusing people left and right of sexual wrongs, Sexism, etc. etc.?

Clinton remains the #1 example of the wrongdoer of that variety, and Gillibrand gave him a pass. Now, all of a sudden, she's demanding President Trump step down because of unproven claims that she's known since the election campaign was young. What a phony.

I did a little background reading and discovered that Kirsten Gillibrand was not in any elected office in 1994. If in 50 years another GoP guy is accused of sexual harassment do they still have to retroactively condemn Bill Clinton?

I know you are really really trying to make this garbage logic work but maybe it's time for you to get over Bill Clinton and focus on the present.
