William Miller anyone?

We do know that when the Love of many is grown cold... stuff will get super real.

The only thing it depends on is How long a generation is according to God right now, since it's seen as 70, 80 and even 100/120 years in the Bible. I can't remember exactly how many different years a generation is listed as but those are close. Most people right now are assuming it is 70.

I hope so.

I'm not exactly hoping for the end , I know too many unsaved people yet. Sometimes I think people/Christians are anxious to get out of here before the action picks up any more and not thinking of loved ones left behind. Just a thought, not an accusation.

I feel like you have to find a balance between loving the appearing of the Lord and trying to win souls for every minute you have until then

The only William Miller that I know of was a NY Congressman who was Goldwater's running mate in the 1964 Presidential race. However, I just did a quick Google search and see that a William Miller was a Baptist preacher who lived from 1782-1849.

Only God knows the number that will be saved and the last day will not come until those who are to be saved, have been. So no fears that anything would short change one that could have been saved. But, it is our commission to spread God's word so that the full number does come and as quickly as possible.

Just as the OT people longed for Jesus' coming, we should also.

2 Peter 3:12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
