If I don't take care of it, I look like a 7th grade boy with his first mustache shadow.
I also have a lot of peach fuzz on my jaw line. It's very light and fine, but when I look closely in a mirror or I have on thicker makeup, it is very noticeable. I've been working up the courage to do something about it, but I'm afraid I will bite off more than I can chew, or that it will come back thick and dark.

It is. Particularly thinning eyebrows. Unless you specifically asked for all the correct and in-depth thyroid blood-work done from your primary doctor, you would need to see a more integrative doctor who does bio-identical hormones. They know what to look for. Trust me, I'm 28 and even my thyroid is off and I take a natural, compounded medication for it. Makes me feel awesome.

Everyone has facial hair. And what you're describing is the perfectly natural amount of hair on a young female face. I'm a fair skinned, blue eyed, reddish/blonde haired woman and I have a very fine, 'peach fuzz' type facial hair. It's so blonde though it's not even noticeable unless you're up close to a mirror scrutinizing your face.
I would try not to worry about it. It's perfectly normal.

I LOVE beards! My best guy friend has a magnificent beard and he takes very good care of it...it SOOOO soft (yes, he let's me run my fingers through his beard...it's AMAZING).

Thanks for making me smile. I am sort of partial to redheads because that is what my husband was. Your friend does wear a beard well....but even on my husband, I still wouldn't want to kiss it. LOL.

There's something especially charming to me about redheaded men. My friend is currently single, but is so lovable I don't think he will be for long. He's very sweet and thoughtful, and I'm certain he wouldn't hesitate to lose his beard if a future girlfriend said it made kissing him feel like she was rubbing her face on sandpaper. But for now he's wearing it very well!
