Guys - help me out

I'm having HUGE problems now with Calendar issues.

The start of the Nativity Fast caught me out.

My Liturgical Calendar on my desktop is Julian - now I need a new one .

Today I gather is St Matthew - is it a fish day ?

Can't ask my Priest - he's over on My Athos !!

I can't help you with a liturical calender, al I can do is remind you that God wants us to worship him in spirit and in truth. So continue to worship using your calender untill you can get what ever version you need.
God will not reject honest worship.

I've previously used the St John of Kronstadt Calendar - which now is not available

The big pdf of the Wallcalendar was simply great.

Old Calendarist that is selectively New Calendar in the name of sanity here; a lot of my hope is pinned on Christ's promise to those who forsake their home lands for His sake.

I don't have any of all of that ritual stuff which has apparently gotten you all in a tizzy but I can offer you the freedom and peace of 1 Timothy 2:5-6. Jesus is our mediator to God the Father whoever we may be as long as we are a believer in Christ Jesus. You needn't be bothered by a bunch of traditional and impersonal mandates if you would rather be free of them and free to worship directly through the Son, Jesus. You can and you may use whatever your heart desires to speak to God. He is there waiting upon and listening to whatever His children have to say. He cherishes that kind of time. He is our Abba, Daddy.

Our parish publishes a calendar like that every month. It's emailed and available in printed form in the narthex.
We hang one on the refrigerator at home. If a new month begins and I haven't 'posted' a calendar.. we get all discombobulated.

Welcome to TAW - the home of Orthodox Christians. Here we welcome you to post in fellowship and ask questions , but please don't try and teach us here. I doubt you would be happy if I came into your home Board and told you that you needed to follow our traditions.

I posted my request to my fellow Orthodox Christians here. We do all live and worship according to our customs, beliefs and traditions . My brethren here understand why I made that request - and have helped me out.

Fender -That's something I wish we had - but we are a tiny Community at present [ though believe me we have already outgrown our little Chapel ! ]

I'm pretty sure that something like that will be produced in the future - but with Fr away till the end of the month we are keeping going with Prayer Services led by our members. Once he's back , if you have no objections I'll show him your Calendar and gently suggest that we add that to our 'to be done ' file

Fender 's Calendar is great!

An addition about December 2017:
- Fishdays (except Wednesdays and Fridays) until 17th December
- Oil & wine 18th-24th December (except Wednesdays and Fridays)
- Oil and wine on Wednesday 6th December (St. Nicholas, Friday 15th December (St. Eleftherius) and Wednesday 20th December (St. Ignatius)
