As I've mentioned before, I'm going to try and get my mother, and eventually my entire family to say the rosary. I'm struggling a bit at the moment, in addition to struggling with cold feet, I'm currently having a bit of prayer fatigue at the moment and also have a few distractions to deal with.

Prayers and advice would be appreciated.

Do not try and persuade her - it's something she has to come to in her own time - if she ever does.

It's time you concentrated on your work for College - how you juggle your very intense and demanding prayer routine and College work I do not know.

Please do not try and persuade your mother - she will learn more from your example than your attempts to persuade her to do something.

I know this may sound harsh - but it's meant in all charity and love

And take care of your own prayer life first. Become an example rather than a direct instructor for the moment. Let your life make them ask...why is he how he is. And when the answer is your faith you can share. These are the first steps...training your heart and your own habits as well as your knowledge. So handle your own fatigue, move slowly.

Are they Catholic? Even if they are, you can't push this kind of thing. I second (third) the advice of concentrating on your own prayer life. Following a regular prayer rule sounds easy, but can be one of the hardest things to follow through on (at least for me it is). Pray for them and let God take care of the rest.

I have prayed an Orthodox version of the rosary and find it to be a very lovely thing. However, nobody pushed me into doing this. I probably would have baulked at the notion had anyone attempted to do so.
