In a way, it is almost a promise, that it is now possible to have that gentleness to share. How wonderful for those who have difficulty in expressing gentleness in their lives to know that in Christ they are free and able to do so,

While the worker is equipped for the task the Lord has led him to, isn’t it the likely sort that we oft’ read too much into the person below the surface? I think more harm comes from those who tend to read body-language in the first 30-seconds than giving it time to see the inner-man of Christ express himself.

But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge;
but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
(2 Corinthians 11:6)

", , So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed."

Yep, sounds like he was talking about Christians to me, having sensitivity once in their possession, , let it slip right through their fingers.

Even in all His wisdom of council and might of understanding, He didn't bring out the heaviness of the Almighty against us, but re-assures us,

His "burden is light".

But it seems this wasn't adequately noised among the people, and we behaved badly to Him, His gentleness did not buckle under the authority nor did it escape mercy,

Might well be one of the most elusive of "fruits".
