Yeah I'm the same with 1 Samuel. Love it.Rereading 1 Samuel yet again, on my most recent Bible read through (have read through the KJV once, the ESV twice, and am on another translation now). There's something about 1 Sam that keeps me reading and reading and never exhausting of it.
I enjoy reading Leviticus myself, especially regarding the Jewish feast days. I watch it every year when they show it on T.V. (for Holy Week I think) and love it. I also like the way Moses tries to figure out the mystery of God being the great I Am. I would recommend it.Has anyone ever watched 'The Ten Commandments'? I heard it's an absolute classic and I see it's three hours and forty minutes long. I enjoy old films so do any of you recommend it?
And one of the best weekends of all. Daylight savings is ending! I will relish that one extra hour.
