Rereading 1 Samuel yet again, on my most recent Bible read through (have read through the KJV once, the ESV twice, and am on another translation now). There's something about 1 Sam that keeps me reading and reading and never exhausting of it.

Yeah I'm the same with 1 Samuel. Love it.

Lol often I'll say to myself "Let's read from the OT today" and just end up in 1 Samuel :rolleyes:

@CodyFaith Samuel is such a beast. Scripture says "none of his words fell to the ground". from the time he prophesied as a boy (scholars debate between 9-13yo) everything he prophesied was spot on, he never messed up and all the nation confirmed him as a prophet in such a short time, they didn't even have social media yet!...and he punked off a priest,lol.

I enjoy reading Leviticus myself, especially regarding the Jewish feast days. There's a lot more significance to them then at first glance; they're also referred to sometimes as "Divine Appointments."

I watch it every year when they show it on T.V. (for Holy Week I think) and love it. I also like the way Moses tries to figure out the mystery of God being the great I Am. I would recommend it.

Currently in a dilemma with my health insurance. I can no longer afford to pay for it, but I'm scared to drop my coverage just in case something were to happen and I needed it. In my state there are only two current options and neither are really affordable. I just ask for y'all's prayers that God would give me a solution to this problem. :praying:

I can't stand daylight savings time. I don't know why people enjoy it. It's one hour less of daylight. The flippin' sun goes down at like 5-5:30 in the afternoon.
