Yes. One morning near finals week, I am going to leave the dorm early to "meet my best friend for breakfast" to help my bestie with an imaginary paper. Instead, we are going to get donuts. Lots of them, at least two dozen in one box. The plan is to write "Will you marry me" in frosting on her favorite donuts, and dress one donut up as a fancy "ring." I may add some rock candy to the "ring." Just so we can joke about our engagement ring being a donut, y'know. I'll have the actual pretty sapphire ring underneath the engagement-donut. If I'm feeling punny, I'll tell her I donut think I could live without her. (Bad puns are acceptable in this relationship.) She's another introvert, and food is a love language in this family, so I think she'll prefer a coffee and donuts proposal, instead of something fancy and public.
So TL-DR: I plan to show up with coffee and "will you marry me" donuts at 10 AM on a weekend morning, with a photographer friend hiding nearby somewhere. Do I sound completely nuts?

No offense to anyone on CF, but I am getting tired of all the talk about Halloween being evil and all that. I see nothing wrong about Halloween in itself as long as you don't get too carried away. It's all about your intentions. I mean, if you celebrate it with evil intentions or whatever, yeah that's bad. But if you're just having a little innocent fun, there's nothing bad about that.
...I don't know, I guess I've just been noticing that, despite Jesus having told us not to judge others, there are a lot of Christians judging in some other places. I came to this site for fellowship and inspiration, not to be judged and indirectly told I'm a bad person. It hurts a little.
Anyway, sorry about my sudden rant, but for some reason this was bothering me a lot yesterday and I know I shouldn't keep my feelings bottled up. I really shouldn't let things like this get to me so much, but...I am thankful for the many non-judgemental and friendly experiences I've had here, also.
Halloween really is evil. All I got from trick or treating was a rock.
