Fortunately the lovely Marina from work back here at home was not keen on the idea of ever possibly one day becoming my Lady Knight after our first and only date a few months ago, when she considered that I would be leaving Houston eventually, and wishes only to be my friend, ... so my equally fortunate chance to "go out" with Yankee Girl is totally not my being a two-timer. Perish that thought that Sarah's Knight would ever try to pull such a stunt. ^-^
Sure is a blessing to know this many pretty girls as friends though. That I will not kid around about.

Sunday was awesome! we had an artist from France come and visit. we were talking for a little bit and then he invited me to his art gallery, it was awesome, his perspective on life was really inspiring, that was my first time meeting a professional artist. here's a little bit of his work, if you are interested

Yeah, sometimes that happens here too. So I completely understand!
Ever try having coffee (1 cup) when having a headache? It certainly helps with my headaches. Sometimes even preventing it going into migraine mode.

No offense to anyone on CF, but I am getting tired of all the talk about Halloween being evil and all that. I see nothing wrong about Halloween in itself as long as you don't get too carried away. It's all about your intentions. I mean, if you celebrate it with evil intentions or whatever, yeah that's bad. But if you're just having a little innocent fun, there's nothing bad about that.
...I don't know, I guess I've just been noticing that, despite Jesus having told us not to judge others, there are a lot of Christians judging in some other places. I came to this site for fellowship and inspiration, not to be judged and indirectly told I'm a bad person. It hurts a little.
Anyway, sorry about my sudden rant, but for some reason this was bothering me a lot yesterday and I know I shouldn't keep my feelings bottled up. I really shouldn't let things like this get to me so much, but...I am thankful for the many non-judgemental and friendly experiences I've had here, also.

^When in reality all it would take is one look at what goes on behind closed doors inside homes or a glance at a banking statement to realize we're all part of the unlovely crowd that needs Jesus. until judgment goes out the window, i'll continue to be the ruffle in peoples feathers.

@Multifavs sorry to hear people have been so hard. I have other reasons for not liking halloween, as I have known of people who were victims of SRA, so I'm not comfortable this time of year knowing what goes on, but that's just me. The only thing I ask is consistency, don't celebrate evil and then bash it afterwards, if you hate it then hate it, if you love it then love it. just don't take pieces of it and say its good, but other pieces are bad. I'm not trying to bash anyone here or tell you what you can and can not do, just saying don't be a hypocrite about it. keep in mind, this is very much a "meat sacrificed to idols" thing so there is no conclusion here, just a question as to who is the one to step out first in love and compromise for the sake of edification.

Well, I think it is a matter of conscience whether a Christian participates in halloween or not. I choose not to celebrate it because I have had actual practicing witches in my family, so because of everything that the day entails I refuse to celebrate halloween. I'm not saying a Christian who celebrates halloween is evil or anything. I am just saying...I think Christians would be better off doing some homework on the day before they make their decisions but that goes for anything. I don't tell anyone not to, I just choose not to as halloween is a high holy day not only for witches but those who worship the devil as well.
