Why did God communicate such importance on numbers? Some of the links around the web do have interesting facts concerning God’s perfection and mysteries that are uncovered concerning tallies and occurrences, but why such an importance seems to elude what some refer to as a “lifetime of study” with numbers and the Bible.

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart.
Psalms 90:12

This verse was as close as I got, but there is likely further help. A rather exhaustive link that still left me in question,

The Significance of Numbers in Scripture

Why did God communicate such importance on numbers?
Could it be a second bolstering arm of communication? I am not fully convinced in that direction as some passages are simply too foggy, even to that point of pinpointing many of our lack,

"Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, ,"
(Revelation 13:18)

7 perfect number?
I take it you did see that rather involved link provided in the OP? I encourage all to post the many notations posted there and elsewhere as they sometimes will provide clues in hopes of answering any inquirer,

"Why is there such an emphasis on numbers?"

With certain passages on the trinity you used for example, sometimes it details why on the spot with "these three are one" (1 John 5:8).

If with the use of numbers in scripture, portions described and sometimes not, sometimes convincing and sometimes not, we still shouldn’t feel compelled to relax our guard with an esoteric 'on-the-horizon' interest,

"In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth."
(Ephesians 1:8-10)

Herein then is I believe one of the places where those in opposition to manifestations of the Spirit are found. If given under the full knowledge of that blessed Body of Christ, any interpretation, prophesy or word of wisdom’s message that happens to include any form of the above, it should be treated the same just as any other – weighed by others.

No, people are fascinated by numbers. God is only concerned with our souls.
Doesn't our mind have to do with our soul? Things like consciousness and our mental state? To be able to reason itself communes with the soul of man.

No. Let us not worry about earthly things...

I looked into this one years ago and it turns out the significance is more obvious then esoteric. The rule of thumb with the significance of numbers and words in Scripture is you go back to the first use, obviously this number '6' goes back to the sixth day of creation. Man and the beasts of the field were created on day 6. The beast is rising out of a sea of humanity; people, nations, tribes etc. When it says it's the number of a man it lacks the definite article so it could be as simple as 666 is the number of man, that is humanity.

That is a recurring theme in the Hebrew Scriptures, there are seven feasts, seven laws of Levitical sacrifice. In the New Testament the gifts of the Holy Spirit come in three groups of seven. The menorah is a seven pronged golden lamp in the Holy Place, is the symbol Jesus uses to represent the 7 churches in Asian Minor. I used to have a note book where I collected things that come in sevens, not sure what the significance of it really is but clearly Biblical writers had an interest in organizing things in sevens.

If plural, then you're saying his appearance has already occurred?
