Peace to those who may read.
Death is not a friend but an enemy that is defeated in victory in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. This enemy is defeated in this life that we are living in right now in this earth and not after we “die and go to heaven” as men without knowledge of the good news (the “gospel”) are preaching in the churches.
He gives us the victory over death in this life in Him. Our Savior Jesus Christ has “abolished” death…that is, He has rendered it idle for us now. He has brought life and “immortality”(that is, “undecaying”) to light through the good news (the “gospel”). This is for us in this world for God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to save this world. NOW is the day of salvation.
2 Timothy 1:8-12 KJV
(8) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
(9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
(11) Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
We are not to be ashamed of what we hear ….His testimony of these things....but BELIEVE. Some will be ashamed and not believe. Some will scoff: “where is the promise of His coming”? Where is this eternal life (that is promised to us) being made manifest in the mortal flesh of anyone in this world? The unbelievers of the churches will persecute us for believing...but we are to suffer with Christ and not return evil for their evil.
(12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Men without understanding preach their covenant with death and their agreement with the grave….and want us to go keep their “covenant” with them in their churches where NO FLESH is being saved.
The only good “death” we are to keep is the death of our Lord in our mortal bodies (keeping the “daily” sacrifice) so that His eternal life is made manifest in our outer mortal flesh. His life within us manifests outwardly as well…in our mortal bodies (the “earthen vessels”)…so that this dark and dying world may see the power of God…to see His glory…to see His eternal life. This dark and dying world shall see the Light manifest in our mortal bodies and will then praise and glorify God in heaven through us as the power of God is manifest in us and is not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:7-11 KJV
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
The good “death” that we keep is the ALWAYS (daily sacrifice) bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus so that the life of Jesus might be made manifest (that is, SHINE) in our body….
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
….in our mortal flesh.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
We are to hear His voice and BELIEVE and be the first (the first fruits) to trust in Christ…without seeing His eternal life being made manifest yet. We are to be to the praise of His glory….as the outside world shall see His glory appear in our mortal bodies and will praise God…glorifying Him. All shall be made alive...but every man in his own order. Those firstfruits who hear and believe Him without seeing His manifest life yet shall be made alive....and those of the outside world will only believe when they see His appearing life in us (those who are Christ's at His coming).
Ephesians 1:9-14 KJV
(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
We are to hear His testimony today….that He has abolished death and brought life and immortality to us today. We are to hear the Word of Truth…the good news of our salvation. We are to believe it and be sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise of His eternal life.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
The Holy Spirit is the deposit of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession….our earthen vessels…unto the praise of His glory as the outside world shall see His eternal life being made manifest in our mortal flesh. The outside world shall see His life appear through us and will praise God in heaven. We are to be those who believe WITHOUT SEEING Him yet appear unto the praise of His glory when His glory does appear in our mortal flesh in this earth.
(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Our mortal body…the “earthen vessel”…is the purchased possession. Our deposit of the redemption of the purchased possession is the Holy Spirit within us by which if we are given the power to become the sons of God. If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also MAKE ALIVE your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. (Romans 8:11).
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
(19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
(20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
The “evidence that is sealed” is the deposit of the Holy Spirit which is in us. We are SEALED with the Holy Spirit of the promise…the promise of His eternal life being made manifest (the OPEN EVIDENCE) in our mortal bodies so that the world may see and praise His name.
Jeremiah 32:11-17 KJV
(11) So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
(12) And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.
“Baruch”…means “PRAISE or blessed”…as in the world shall see the “open” evidence (the manifest immortal life of Jesus in us) and will praise God. They will bless God …praising Him.
The evidence of the purchase…..the one that is “sealed” is the sealing of the Holy Spirit within us. The open evidence is the redemption of our mortal body as the life of Jesus is made manifest in our mortal flesh so that this world in this present evil age may see and praise God in heaven.
These “evidences” are put in an “EARTHEN VESSEL”…our mortal bodies…so that we may CONTINUE MANY DAYS….that is, having eternal life in this earthen vessel through Jesus whose life it is.
(13) And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
(14) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
(15) For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
(16) Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,
NOTHING is too hard for God….
(17) Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
….the God of all flesh.
Jeremiah 32:26-27 KJV
(26) Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
(27) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
He has been given power over ALL FLESH so that He should give eternal life to as many as the Father has given Him.
John 17:1-3 KJV
(1) These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
(2) As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
(3) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
To those who will receive Him, He gives us the power to become the sons of God…to those who believe on His name…His authority…for we DO His will.
John 1:11-14 KJV
(11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
(12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
We make the Word flesh by DOING it so that He may dwell among us and the world may behold His glory and will praise God.
(14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
According to His abundant mercy, He begets us again unto a LIVING HOPE and not a dead one that is being preached in the churches of men where they have no understanding that the good news is for the here and now….not the “hereafter”…..but for NOW as His salvation IS NOW. We are begotten again unto a LIVING HOPE by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. He is risen already and so we can have His life NOW as He is LIVING NOW and forever more.
1 Peter 1:3-8 KJV
(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Jesus is in heaven and is incorruptible and undefiled and is not fading away. His heavenly life is reserved in heaven for us. And His heavenly life is to be revealed in us in this earth.
(4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
We hear the good news for the here and now and rejoice. Yet, many in the churches of men will hear and scoff and persecute those who will believe. We are not to render evil for their evil…thereby partaking in the sufferings of Christ who also endured the persecutions of His very own.
(6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
(7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
The appearing of Jesus Christ is through our mortal flesh as His life is made manifest in our mortal body…giving us His immortal life…His victory over death.
We are to be the FIRST to hear the good news of our salvation and trust in Christ. We trust in Christ because we DO NOT SEE HIM YET…YET…YET…but nevertheless, REJOICE in what we hear Him saying to us today.
(8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
If all that we have is ONLY HOPE in Christ in this life then we are truly all men most miserable. But NOW is Christ RISEN from the dead. We are begotten again unto a LIVING HOPE as we HOPE for His appearing immortal, heavenly life in our mortal bodies in this earth (and not after we die and go to heaven that is being universally preached by those who have no understanding). There is something more in this life than just hope...something tangible...something to see: HIS APPEARING GLORY in our mortal flesh for the world to see.
1 Corinthians 15:19-26 KJV
(19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
NOW is Christ RISEN so that we may have a living hope to have His life now in this earth to the praise of His glory in this world. We are the “firstfruits” who hear and believe WITHOUT seeing Him…yet. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the redemption of the purchased property….the mortal body.
(20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
(21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
All in this world shall be made alive with His life…but every man in his own order. We who first trust in Christ without seeing Him yet are those firstfruits. We believe hear His testimony and believe and hope for His appearing life in our mortal flesh giving us His eternal life in this earth (without physically dying for the Lord ALREADY DIED for us).
AFTERWARD, they that are Christ’s at His coming (through us) are the outside world. For them, seeing is believing. For us, we believe without seeing Him until His eternal life appears in our mortal flesh.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
(24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
The enemies shall perish (die) from off this earth as they will not believe in what they hear and will behave badly towards the hearing of His voice. Death will not be completely defeated until all of the enemies perish from off this earth…and then the last enemy, death, is completely destroyed.
(25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
Death is an enemy…not a friend…that is to be destroyed from off this earth after all of the other enemies die.
(26) The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
They that are Christ’s at His coming are those in the outside world who will only believe when they see His appearing life in our mortal flesh (of those who are the firstfruits who believe without seeing Him yet). Like doubting Thomas, the world will only believe through seeing.
The outside world (those that are Christ’s at His coming) shall only believe when they see His appearing life in our mortal flesh.
John 20:24-29 KJV
(24) But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
(25) The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
(26) And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
(27) Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
They will praise God when they see Him…. “My Lord and my God”.
(28) And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Those who are Christ’s at His coming will only believe when they see Him.
But blessed are they who have NOT SEEN and yet believe. They are Christ the firstfruits who hear and believe His Word of Truth and are made alive FIRST. They are the firstfruits who will be made alive first....unto the praise of His glory as the world shall see and praise God.
Doubting Thomas..the world…will only believe when they SEE Him. They will be made alive at His coming through us...to the praise of His glory.
(29) Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
To be continued…
