Matthew 22:1-14 (NABRE)

The Parable of the Wedding Feast.
1 Jesus again in reply spoke to them in parables, saying, 2 “The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. 3 He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they refused to come. 4 A second time he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those invited: “Behold, I have prepared my banquet, my calves and fattened cattle are killed, and everything is ready; come to the feast.”’ 5 Some ignored the invitation and went away, one to his farm, another to his business. 6 The rest laid hold of his servants, mistreated them, and killed them. 7 The king was enraged and sent his troops, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy to come. 9 Go out, therefore, into the main roads and invite to the feast whomever you find.’ 10 The servants went out into the streets and gathered all they found, bad and good alike, and the hall was filled with guests. 11 But when the king came in to meet the guests he saw a man there not dressed in a wedding garment. 12 He said to him, ‘My friend, how is it that you came in here without a wedding garment?’ But he was reduced to silence. 13 Then the king said to his attendants, ‘Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.’ 14 Many are invited, but few are chosen.”

That us a most powerful teaching, we had it at church recently. Yet I know if I put it in FB, nobody would respond. They who are deaf and blind with closed minds will always resist. Until life makes them ready.
I am not strong enough yet to do it, so I do it subtly. One day I want to spread the good news confidently. I just pray for the moment, for those who are yet ignorant of the greatest truth ever.

Make no mistake about it, I haven't posted it on FB either. I just draw a parallel in here about so called FB-ministry and the parable of the wedding feast.

To actually post that particular passage from scripture on FB I fear would be very counter productive in my mission.

If so have you noticed a decrease in people commenting on your actions in general?

I quote psalms from time to time and since I started being more explicit about my faith I get less responses. Now I suspect I'm ignored by many.

Well whatever, if they hate the Lord and his word then let them ignore. A few of my friends appreciate my quotes and its more important that brethren gets their bread than to please the unbelievers.

Have anyone has similar experiences?

I would encourage you to look at your "friends" list and see if they are truly worth having as your friends. While having extra people on your facebook is not a bad thing, maybe it's time to clean house. Sharing your faith is awesome, but as other people shared, the gospel is considered foolishness (crazy or insanity in 2017). Please don't let this be a setback to you, keep sharing the word. While it may seem like a waste of time, remember the promise of Isaiah 55:11 "so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it."

God's word always has a purpose and it doesn't return as worthless. It is not an empty promise or just a cute little saying, it's literally God's very words breathed out to us. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
