i have serious panic attacks & need prayer. My life has done a bit of changing big time & everything is terrifying right now in this storm. Please pray for god to give me peace & strength as I get back up on my feet. I also fear loneliness very badly. Please pray about this also. Thank you so much!! God bless

 Praying for you, Crystal, that He calms and steadies you and every cell and the adrenaline that surges just like a storm. May He still every storm, inside and outside, and comfort, minister to, and heal you every place you hurt. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen (((hug)))

I prayed for you. I used to have panic attacks as well, do not struggle with the anxiety, keep calm and accept it, and pray when you need to.
And if you feel lonely, know that there are many people in this forum that can help you.
May God protect you and help you to get to the path of happiness.

May you enjoy the peace that passes understanding, as the Lord continues to sanctify you in spirit, soul and body. He has not abandoned you, and is with you in the storm, though at times it may seem He is sleeping. Perhaps give Philippians chapter 4 a read, it is a helpful encouragement (ch 3 is also).

  • Fear not life. Why? “For I am the way the truth and the life” – John 14:6
  • Fear not death. Why? ” For I am He that lives and was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore.” – Rev. 1:18
  • Fear not the unknown. Why? “For I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end” – Rev. 22:13
  • Fear not evil. Why? “For thou art with me. thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” – Psalm 23:4
  • Fear not life problems. Why? “For God is our refuge, He is our strength, the very help in times of need or trouble” – Psalm 46:1
  • Fear not what others can do to us. Why? “In God I have put my trust. I will not fear what flesh can do to me” – Psalm 56:4

If you feel a panic attack starting, just sit down and relax.

Start to inhale or breath in, through your nose, counting slowly to 4, and immediately, hold your breath for a count of 7, and then immediately exhale through your mouth, for the count of 8.

Repeat the same breathing exercises a few times, preferably 7-8 times. This breathing exercise, switches off your exited nerve system, and calms it down, so that you can decrease the panic attack!

1:3-11, Psalm 121:1,2,3,7, Psalm 30:11, Psalm 31:7, Psalm 71:20,21, Psalm 73:26, Psalm 115:3-8, Psalm 107:41, Psalm 116:6-9, Psalm 22:24, Psalm 25:16,17,18, Psalm 94:13,17-19, Psalm 142:2,3, Romans 15:13, Psalm 50:15, Psalm 54:7, Psalm 34:6,17,18,19, Psalm 69, Psalm 37:24,39, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 30:11, 31:6-10, Psalm 62
