He crossed the road to prove to the armadillo that it could be done.

He did so on a dare from a snail.

Then he dared the snail to cross the road.

I dont understand these chickens.... Last week I took my children to the playground....And saw the Chicken Crossing it!

I asked, "why did you cross the Playground?" It's response: "To get to the other SLIDE!"

What kind of chicken are we talking about?

The Calvinist chicken crossed the road because she had been predestined to cross the road.

The Arminian chicken crossed the road because she chose to do so.

The chicken crossed the road, why because it was so cocky, it jumped and spit on the road and called it silly names and the chicken liked to cross all the animals on the farm and finally even the road got cross with the chicken. So in that sence the chicken crossed the road.

Also called a "sail chicken". (Dead flattened cats are commonly used for 'frizbees' as well and are called "Sail cats".

Haha we found a poor frisbee under a roundbale of hay in the middle of winter. It was thrown as a frizbee actually but only to the ground once.

Someone built a bypass right through the farmyard

The chicken was no ordinary farm chicken. It was a wild bird that had been raised with its chicken siblings in the henhouse with normal chickens and its instinct told it that it belonged to the forest that was situated a bit across the road, that is why it crossed the road... to go where it belonged.
