I, too, was curious as to a legal name change (or if you are allowed to just use something else in real life, like here in the USA you can). No offense, just wondering because if my name was, say, Buddha and then I accepted Jesus, I'd change my name! :D

Since my childhood the teachings of Jesus has always intrigued me. I have this craving hunger for the word of God, I am here to talk to others who know and experience God. I dont have any support from friends or family. I live in the Netherlands the majority of the Dutch are agnostic or devoted atheist.
There will be an follow up, explaining why I left Islam and how I lived without believing in God.

I hope for your understanding,

Mohamed

Welcome bro!!! :D i used to be a pagan odinist... until i found out, why serve a creation, when you can serve The Creator, God of gods, when Father sets up the new kingdom, ANY who love Him, shall can come stay, RACE IRRELEVANT, previous religion IRRELEVANT!

anyway, part of the Luke 21:22 Revenge Years, is to avenge the harm done to the indigenous people. and your a son of Ishmael, which makes you, MY HALF BROTHER! :D LOVE YOU BRO. :D

Hi and welcome to the Forum. Although raised as a Baptist I was an Ahmadiyya Muslim for 8 years (i know, 'not real Muslims') but I returned to Christianity a few years ago. I returned briefly to Islam but found I just didn't have it in myself to believe it anymore.
Glad to see you've found Christ. As to changing your name, no it's not necessary considering that it's the most common Arabic men's name in the world I'm sure there are a lot of Arab Christians named Mohammad (or any of the variant spellings).

Amazing testimony! If i may ask, where were you raised to be a Muslim? I'm very interested in this because one of the questions I asked myself when I used to question my faith was "how can God be so merciless to damn all Muslims, because they were raised that way and probably would never hear about Jesus anyway". Very interested, thanks and God bless you :)
