The following are two principles I found helpful to look up earlier in my studies. Neither of which are conducive to a Biblical walk of faith. These are two of the devil's landmines you want to avoid.

In regard to 'contend earnestly for the faith'...bad principle.

Guilt by association - The attribution of guilt to individuals because of the people or organizations with which they associate, rather than because of any crime that they have committed.

In regard to 'study and test thyself approved unto God'...bad principle.

Argument from silence (logical fallacy) - is to express a conclusion that is based on the absence of statements in historical documents, rather than their presence. In the field of classical studies, it often refers to the assertion that an author is ignorant of a subject, based on the lack of references to it in the author's available writings.

'I'm Tired of apologizing For Being a Believer, I'm tired of apologizing for being a man of God' This is why I stopped apologizing a long time ago. Jesus is KING
1f44c.png

'“If the world hates you [and it does], know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would love [you as] its own and would treat you with affection. But you are not of the world [you no longer belong to it], but I have chosen you out of the world. And because of this the world hates you. Remember [and continue to remember] that I told you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

But they will do all these [hurtful] things to you for My name’s sake [because you bear My name and are identified with Me], for they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have [the guilt of their] sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

The one who hates Me also hates My Father. If I had not done among them the works (attesting miracles) which no one else [ever] did, they would not have [the guilt of their] sin; but now [the fact is that] they have both seen [these works] and have hated Me [and continue to hate Me] and My Father as well. But [this is so] that the word which has been written in their Law would be fulfilled, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’

“But when the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me. But you will testify also and be My witnesses, because you have been with Me from the beginning." John 15:18-27 (AMP)

This following Parable is primarily talking about the Spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12. The more you use them the bigger they get (like physical muscles)...this is correct Scriptural exegesis. Most teach 'everyone has the same power' but looking past 'DNA'...everyone does not have the same anointing of dunamis power (but all have the same amount of latent power in Christ). The reason some teach this is because they forget that they prayed ~500+ times before seeing authentic miracles...this is merely a GENERAL Kingdom principle. God can do as He pleases.
1f60a.png

'While they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and they assumed that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately [as soon as He reached the city]. So He said, “A nobleman went to a distant country to obtain for himself a kingdom, and [then] to return.

So he called ten of his servants, and gave them ten minas [one apiece, each equal to about a hundred days’ wages] and said to them, ‘Do business [with this] until I return.’ But his citizens [the residents of his new kingdom] hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to be a king over us.’ When he returned, after receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these servants, to whom he had given the money, be called to him, that he might find out what business they had done.

The first one came before him and said, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.’ And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you proved yourself faithful and trustworthy in a very little thing, you shall [now] have authority over ten cities [in my kingdom].’ The second one came and said, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’ And he said to him also, ‘And you shall take charge over five cities.’ Then another came and said, ‘Lord, here is your mina, which I have kept laid up in a handkerchief [for safekeeping]. I was [always] afraid of you, because you are a stern man; you pick up what you did not lay down and you reap what you did not sow.’ He said to the servant, ‘I will judge and condemn you by your own words, you worthless servant! Did you [really] know that I was a stern man, picking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?

Then why did you not [at the very least] put my money in a bank? Then on my return, I would have collected it with interest.’ Then he said to the bystanders, ‘Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas already!’ [Jesus explained,] ‘I tell you that to everyone who has [because he valued his gifts from God and has used them wisely], more will be given; but from the one who does not have [because he disregarded his gifts from God], even what he has will be taken away.’ [The king ended by saying,] ‘But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence.’ Luke 19:11-27 (AMP)

I'm convinced that if Jesus Christ Messiah came back right now manifest in the flesh, His own Church would crucify Him...for the unloving things He would say.

Be a PEACEMAKER, not a PEACEKEEPER. As a babysitter...If sweeping a big pile of dog poop under a rug and saying it's not there...is peacekeeping, then cleaning it up before the owner gets home is peacemaking.

'Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God' Matthew 5:9

Peacemaker - a person who brings about peace, especially by reconciling adversaries.

Some have this odd notion that Christ Messiah was a peace-keeping hippie who just agreed with anyone who confronted Him. Everything in the Bible suggests otherwise. (Matthew 16:23, Matthew 23, Luke 11:27-28, John 6:70, John 21:20-25 etc...). Jesus played hardball too, as did His Apostle's after Pentecost.

We need to be careful that all the healings and miracles don't rewrite the harsh things in the Bible because we walk by faith, not by sight. Consider how radically some people's convictions have changed from before and after they started walking in the supernatural. It's like the entire Bible was rewritten for some. You can call this doubt...'we need to be careful' is an expression of doubt for some...but I see spiritual arrogance on the other side.

There's a lot of it in the Church right now. If you took away every bit of the supernatural, the blessings, the favor, the annointing, the influence, the money...where would their relationship with God be? Could they love Jesus Christ just for Him? I'm convinced that many could not.

'Brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written. Then you will not take pride in one man over another. For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?' 1 Corinthians 4:6-7

We need to reconsider what constitutes 'backbiting' 'unloving conduct' and 'slander' because conflating those with reasonable (or even heated) debate has done much harm. Just being silent is nonverbal permission. I'm convinced many just don't understand that passive Christianity was never God's intention for the Church.

'I have come to cast fire (judgment) on the earth; and how I wish that it were already kindled! I have a baptism [of great suffering] with which to be baptized, and how [greatly] I am distressed until it is accomplished! Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division [between believers and unbelievers]; for from now on five in one household will be divided [over Me], three against two and two against three.

They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:49-53 (AMP)

This is excellent instruction on love versus fear, and why God's love is not the same as a human perspective of love. (I'm looking at Mr. 'warm fuzzy feeling')

I like Blake Curry's teaching because it is thorough and takes into account the entirety of God's Word. The Lord has blessed Him.

Amen. Resharing this. Clearing up some confusion.

'Thus says the Lord:

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.

For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,

And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.' Jeremiah 17:5-8 (NKJV)

Some see the Holy Spirit as merely a comforter but He is so much more...I don't have time for all the technicals. Here's a quick summary of who He is and what He does.

He is an unquenchable FIRE that burns away all idolatry and sin (chaff) in our heart, mind, body, and soul (threshing floor).

He is a teacher and instructor that guides us into all Truth.

He is an enabler that clears away all fear of man.

He is the empowerer for signs wonders and miracles.

He is the fullness of God manifest in the Spirit...He is both Father and Son (Jesus Christ Messiah).

He is the TRUTH of the written, living, and spoken Word of God.

He is Wisdom.

He is understanding.

He is counsel.

He is strength.

He is knowledge.

He is the FEAR of the LORD.

He is the Spirit of the Lord, the 7 Spirits of God...(Isaiah 11:2...7-fold Spirit of God)

Now out of all of this...imagine how much the Pastor's and Church Leaders in North America have been resisting Him and Quenching Him in their Churches...even speaking against Him...He has feelings too, He is a living being, He is God.

So you can't be surprised or frustrated when believers don't go to Church at buildings where He is no longer recognized or honored. Our saviour (Jesus Christ Messiah) is blasphemed daily at many of the synagogues in America...

hope this helps someone understand why there are so many House Groups and House Churches...and why traditional Churches are going downhill quickly. They will crash and burn if they do not have the Holy Spirit (the real, complete, and authentic one). God will take away their thrones in His own time.

Read Isaiah 5:8-24 (AMP) regarding the judgement on Churches who do not allow the Holy Spirit to do His authenticating work...He will leave and He will not come back to a place where He is despised and rejected daily. 'Well brother you don't know that, you don't control God'...well let's see who's right in the end.

Excellent Biblical teaching on the spiritual benefits of being single (like the Apostle Paul, like Jesus Christ). Celibacy (singleness in the Lord) was always a good gift from the Lord for those with the self-discipline/self-control to accept it (not all can or should accept it).

Testimonies of prayer to God...and Him answering according to the prayer of faith. I uploaded these from FB messenger...you can do this too...anywhere, at any time in the Lord Jesus. It's all His glory and He gave His Church authority to spread His Kingdom through obedience.

Copied these from my page...it doesn't have to be all professional, theological, and ordained...you just need to be clothed with the power of the Holy Spirit through obedience to the King of Kings...Jesus Christ Messiah.

'You prayed for someone and NOTHING happened. So what. Maybe 3 days later they got healed and you never knew.
1f60e.png
'

'So what if someone says a precise word is not accurate...maybe it was and it freaked them out. Still planting good seeds.
1f609.png
1f923.png

'Precise Words of Knowledge and the Prophetic are not general words. You can't grow with general Words. It takes Faith.'

'But brother how do I increase the anointing?'
1f60a.png

Evangelism makes you more aware of what you already have innate in you as a believer. Presence, Conviction Power, Authority, the Prophetic, miracles, signs, and wonders. Visions, the Spiritual realm, discernment, FRUITS of the SPIRIT....everything.

HEARING/STUDYING the Word is the milk (drinking the blood of Christ) DOING/BEING the Word is the meat (eating the flesh of Christ).

'He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him' John 6:56.
1f35e.png
1f956.png
1f377.png
1f377.png
'

'Get this: Wherever God has placed you...steward what you have in Christ well and the people touched by God will tell other people. When the Holy Spirit is in charge...that ministry will succeed no matter what.

Theology and Bible degrees are good but you really can't stand against the Kingdom of God.

'For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power' 1 Corinthians 4:20

'So in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone. Let them go! For if their purpose or endeavor is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God.' Acts of the Apostles 5:38-39

You will not need a Bible degree or any kind of advertisement...remember, Jesus told everyone not to tell about the miracles...but they were so amazed and filled with thankfulness that they told other people anyway.

Then you have people asking for you and coming to you to get prayer...and you can disciple them to do the same by knowing Jesus Christ and the message of repentance. It's all so very effective if the Holy Spirit is the leader.

This is why the Word says...

'And they went out and preached everywhere, THE LORD WORKING WITH THEM and CONFIRMING THE WORD by the accompanying signs' Mark 16:20

'GOD BEARING WITNESS WITH THEM both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and distributions of the Holy Spirit, ACCORDING TO HIS WILL' Hebrews 2:4

What is the will of the Father? What is the will of God? To BE what Jesus IS. Mystery solved.

God wants pure imaginations before a greater part in the supernatural. Skepticism and Unbelief are the strongmen. Mark 3:23-27 James 4:8

See if we are in skepticism or unbelief of the Lord, other people will take part by their child-like faith IN the LORD, but those who do not trust in the Lord will see it, but they will have no part in it if they refuse to repent (change their mind). It's entirely up to us to believe in His Word...if we want to operate in the Kingdom of God.

'Then the royal officer answered the man of God and said, “Now behold, IF the LORD should make WINDOWS IN HEAVEN, COULD SUCH A THING BE?” And he said, “BEHOLD, YOU WILL SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES, BUT YOU WILL NOT EAT OF IT' 2 Kings 7:19

'When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then He spit on the man’s eyes and placed His hands on him. “Can you see anything?” He asked.

The man looked up and said, “I can see the people, but they look like trees walking around.”

Once again Jesus placed His hands on the man’s eyes, and when he opened them his sight was restored, and he could see everything clearly. Jesus sent him home and said, “Do not go back into the village.” Mark 8:22-26

Jesus Christ talks about spiritual food/drink and supplies at the proper time. What does this mean Holy Spirit? It means don't bite off more than you can chew (if you're learning/growing). It means don't feed solid food to spiritual infant believers (it's CONVICTING Acts 2:37) and don't feed milk to spiritually mature believers (if you're teaching/discipling...it's BORING).

'So put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and hateful speech; like newborn babies [you should] long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may be nurtured and grow in respect to salvation [its ultimate fulfillment], if in fact you have [already] tasted the goodness and gracious kindness of the Lord' 1 Peter 2:1-3 (AMP)

'For everyone who lives on milk is [doctrinally inexperienced and] unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a spiritual infant. But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil' Hebrews 5:13-14 (AMP)

'“Who then is the faithful and wise servant whom his master has put in charge of his household to give the others [in the house] their food and supplies at the proper time? Blessed is that [faithful] servant when his master returns and finds him doing so. I assure you and most solemnly say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions' Matthew 24:45-47 (AMP)

'They say “To whom would He teach knowledge?
And to whom would He explain the message?
Those just weaned from milk?
Those just taken from the breast?

“For He says,
‘Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Rule upon rule, rule upon rule,
Here a little, there a little.’”

Indeed, the Lord will teach this people [in a more humiliating way]
By [men with] stammering lips and a foreign tongue,
He who said to them, “This is the place of quiet, give rest to the weary,”
And, “This is the resting place,” yet they would not listen.

Therefore the word of the Lord to them will be [merely monotonous repetitions]:
“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Rule upon rule, rule upon rule,
Here a little, there a little.”
That they may go and stumble backward, and be broken, ensnared, and taken captive' Isaiah 28:9-13 (AMP)

'So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these [others do—with total commitment and devotion]?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “FEED my LAMBS.”

Again He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me [with total commitment and devotion]?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “SHEPHERD my SHEEP.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me [with a deep, personal affection for Me, as for a close friend]?” Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time, “Do you [really] love Me [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend]?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “FEED my SHEEP' John 21:15-17 (AMP)

A set-in-stone vision, culture, or values WILL hinder growth if it is truly in the baby stage...which is the majority of Churches in North America...especially seeker-sensitive and overly-Pastored (nurturing, caring) Churches and institutions.

I actually voluntarily handicap/restrain myself spiritually in certain situations out of love where the environment is not 100% Holy Spirit friendly because the truth is...many are actually afraid of what Holy Spirit can really do when He shows up for real....just being honest. It's better to pursue peace with all men. Hope this helps someone understand something.

Holy Spirit led me to a powerful encounter today that reminded me of Christ's agape love...I feel He wants me to mention it from His Word...rather than share the testimony.

The Word for perfect in the greek is 'teleios' - perfect, full-grown
Definition: perfect, complete in all its parts, full grown, of full age, specially of the completeness of Christian character.

So agape (unconditional, undeserved) love (charity) COMPLETES perfection and holiness as 'the bond of perfectness'

'Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things' Corinthians 14:3-7 (KJV)

'Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect' Matthew 5:43-48 (KJV)

'Put on therefore, AS THE ELECT of God, HOLY and BELOVED, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness' Colossians 3:12-14 (KJV)

'Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins' Proverbs 10:12 (KJV)

'And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins' 1 Peter 4:8 (KJV)
