All Messed Up

With regard to the date of September 23:

Mark 13: 20-23
“If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

The internet is notorious for throwing random dates out and prophesying about them. I know I believe in Christ right now, and am working to repent the sin in my life. September 23rd is completely irrelevant.

I have seen so many 'doomsdays' come and go in my 65+ years; too many to count ....and many more to come

Stay rooted in Christ; HE knows your soul, heart, mind, and struggles.

I was kind of anxious at first but I am not bothered any more because I know that nothing is going to happen. So come and take some of my peace of mind :]

Oh and I also at times feel like I am not saved but in the end I just come to realise that it is just the Devil whispering nonsense in your ear.

Do not worry about September 23rd. Nothing will happen, and there are so many Biblical reasons to know that He won't.
And even if He did, you would definitely be caught up with Him, because you are His.

As for everything else, I am praying for you. Don't worry, God is with you, and He is our deliverer.

Lord please bless DeerGlow of your salvation. Let all the worriness regardingvsin and 23rd september go away. Let you bless and be glorified in DeerGlows life. Lord bless with your peace, joy and understanding. In Jesus righteous name, Amen!

My prayer is that you know the love of Christ, and His peace, which passes understanding. That you know that you have been translated into the Kingdom of Light, where death has no more rule.

All you have to do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.... And you are saved! I would after that be reading up on how to build your faith as it is the key to the victorious life!

Dont live in fear but in hope. We dont fear tribulation but rather glory in it. there is nothing to fear. I lived with fear for a long time, but then i decided to boldly approach the throne of grace.

It confirms post 11. Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Your salvation is not dependent on your works - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us (Titus 3:5)

God is not watching and waiting for us to mess up and then bring judgement down on us - check this verse out: 2 Cor 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Trust that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again. That is the gospel - good news. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. When you hear the gospel, and trust Christ, then you are saved. Ephesians 1:12,13

Trust Christ and enter into his rest.

Praying for peace, insight, reassurance, healing.

Sister please don't be frightened for He gave us not the spirit of fear but of sound mind.
I, too observe and watch many people who bring forth such information and i know it can get disheartening listening what they say. Its a theme that can draw out fear and uncertainty. Sister seek and watch/read encouraging stories, listen to uplifting praise music and read His written word. Not only will it cheer you up but will give you knowing that Lord is just and merciful Lord and and if you love Him more than yourself, you shall find joy even in front of a firing squad.

Sister what cometh, cometh so seek ye the Lord with all thine heart. Thank Him sincerely for everything in your life, even the bad stuff in your life for they are but a test for us to be shaped in obedience and humility to Him. He is guiding you and watching over you even now. He loves us so much sister, no matter what you did in your life, Jesus loves you so passionately, so i encourage you to spend as much time with Him and place your thoughts on Him. And know that all that i said to you i say to myself also

A few days ago i had a dream seeing myself in a church sitting and praying. I saw myself as i was when i was a child, no bad memory or spot in my conscience weighting me down, completely free from all sadness and waiting on the Lord in quietness and inner peace. On my left side there was someone that was precious in my heart and i started to feel love in my heart, an immensely strong and overwhelming feeling of love for that person. Then i saw an image of Jesus and i understood that this is a reflection of His love, at the edge of my own perception on how much our precious and beloved Lord Jesus loves us. And i am no saint yet still He loves me so much. So sister, know that He loves you, too just as much.

Father, You have made each human being in Your image, and Jesus died on the cross that they would have the opportunity to receive Him as their Savior from all their sins, be totally clean and accepted in Your sight forever. How valuable, precious, and loved we each are. Without You we are nothing, but in Christ, and totally to His credit, we are so valuable. May we come to greater understand this, not lose sight of this, and in total humbleness to what You have done, giving You all the glory, may we better see what You have made us, and focus on giving You great praise, rather than allowing the adversary to try to get us to run ourselves down. Let us not give the adversary the victory, even for a short time, but live in our praise continually for You (Psalms 34:1). Amen and amen.

I am praying for you!! I hope you are feeling better. I struggle in much the same way as you with the OCD. Hold on to the Lord, trust in Him, and whenever He comes you will be ready. If you ever need someone to talk to please feel free to message me.
