I'm more like the viper variety, not the boas nor anacondas. Not as big but just as dangerous!
Speaking as one of the single guys, all the snake metaphors aren't really doing much to sell as as being desirable.

All the talk about Boaz, I thought I could throw in a joke, sorry.
Oh you think! But you're right, it's not good metaphors to pull on the first date or to start a conversation with a woman!
Actually, Jewish extra-Biblical traditions which were first written down in the Middle Ages (more than 2,000 years after the event) are not particularly reliable.
What the heck are "extra-Biblical traditions"?
How do you show evidence of this?
Again, I don't really want a Boaz...that would be such a let down.
Unless she's into snakes. Although I might have second thoughts about going on a date with a woman who kept snakes...
Sometimes spiders scare me and I want help, but I can't even look at pictures of snakes. Those things freak me out.

Stuff that's not in the Bible.
How do you show that it is reliable, given that you were referring to a story that wasn't written down until 2,000 years after the events happened?
De gustibus non est disputandum.
The Bible wasn't written down either.
The Jewish stories are the original stories
The Torah survived the same way the Old Testament did
I simply find historical sources that give more details to be interesting.
Im still praying for my boaz.
Not a lot of Boazes out there, sadly. Mostly just average guys.
as I am not yet prepared to lay at a man's feet in the middle of the night and I am pretty sure my mother would not advise me too even if the outcome was marriage and a child.I guess I could see how a guy would think they wanted a Ruth...a woman who works hard without drawing attention to herself and then crawls in your bed when you aren't looking.
