If the Las Vegas attack is a Muslim terrorist attack, this means the US government and liberal bleeding-heart/appeasement policies aren't working because the government/liberals did not apply God's Law of NI4NI, eg "All is fair in love and war(-on-terror)", 'if they terrorize our citizens, we will terrorize their citizens', 'USA atom-bombed Nagasaki in 1945, terror ceased', 'Tamil Tiger Hindu terrorists of Sri Lanka were defeated by the no-nonsense Sinhalese Buddhist government in 2012', etc.

So, since their governments are ineffective and hopeless, Western and US citizens need to protect themselves from Muslim terrorist attacks, eg avoid public places, public gatherings and public transport where there are no security screening = stay at home more. Or they need to take retaliatory action themselves, eg "It takes a thief to catch a thief".

So, since it wasn't a "Muslim attack"?

Since that report went out it has been debunked by Homeland. They found no contact between him and any on line islamic group.

This story is both sad and tragic. We pray for those who have been killed or injured, and those who have lost loved ones. We pray for a nation stunned and horrified, and for their leadership, that love and wisdom may prevail.

I also wonder what can just make a person snap like that..,from what I read he was wealthy and lived a good life...I don't understand why or what prompted him to take the lives of others without any motive.

Maybe he struggled with mental illness...idk.

So far police report that he is an old white male. Well educated, no police background, no philosophies or affiliations that would result in violence, no known life circumstances to explain his actions. It is known though that he planned this well and steadily built up a cache of weapons legally. He spent three days setting it all up in his hotel room overlooking the concert.

It may be hi motive is never known
He may have a psychopathology that was never previously recognised.

When the dust settles USA has to determine what next. As gun reform seems out of the question, it seems how to respond rapidly will be the focus.... Which they did this time btw

The onion will unpeel slowly as the FBI and ATF investigators look at his arsenal of weapons. If they determine he had illegal fire arms the investigation goes to where he obtained them. If he modified then the source whether personal knowledge (prior experience).

Then we will actually find out the people who really know him well from recent memory (probably no his brother) will start remembering "yeah he really had a beef with "x" person or ideology.

It's coming but in time.

I own 19 rifles, pistols, and shotguns. A few of which are AR type "assault" weapons. I own a couple of military and police grade sniper rifles, and I have dozens of pounds of explosives used to reload ammunition. Oh, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

So do most of my friends and family. We are all former or current military and/or law enforcement. None of us has ever killed anyone that wasn't in the course of doing our job.

The "gun culture" is not the problem. It is the culture of progressive leftism that seeks to oppress, dehumanize, and polarize various groups of Americans based on their religious or political views.

I think maybe the 30 000+ annually killed using guns might be the problem. This isn't Republican v democrat or nth v sth... The dehumanization you mention is when a round fired from a gun kills someone. You must know how tough it was in your job... How risky it was because of the risks of being shot in the line of duty. Look I'm 16 n from Australia so it's an outsiders view. I do think you guys have a serious problem that you need to acknowledge and work on though.

I kind of feel like there's a lot more to the story here. A wealthy, elderly man, a pretty normal guy from the way others described him, with no prior mental problems or even a known interest in guns somehow turns a semi - automatic weapon into a full automatic weapon, fires at a crowd, and then shoots himself?
I hope we learn more about this whole thing within the next few days, because this seems kind of fishy.
