It's also 'evidence' that pixies did it, or aliens, or any other gods you care to dream up!

This is the problem with trying to introduce the supernatural...you can literally claim anything you like...
Yea and satire promotes such reliable science, it's all you have to answer with.

Anyone can claim anything.

Let's see their claims end up with edifices, holidays, martyrs, literature, and songs.

.. well.. interesting that you'd ask that.. it leads me to some of my thoughts on directed evolution vs blind evolution..

In blind evolution that isn't directed by God.. you would have to imply that a creature could grow features that are specific to the physical realm that it hasn't even experienced.. meaning that the dna/cells etc would have to have a conscious of their own and be fully aware of physics etc..

Think about it.. an animal develops eyes.. how is that possible that it could understand that it needs to "see" and how to develop "sight" to be able to visually capture things in a physical world? These dna/cells etc would have to be acted on by the divine to do that.. like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.. how does its body understand aerodynamics from the living on the ground?

I could go on and on about intelligent design and evolution.. its a very interesting topic.. but it ultimately like everything else proves the existence of God.

I asked about whales and hind limbs. You typed four paragraphs, none of which had anything to do with whales and hind limbs. Why is that?

Sigh...do I need to remind you again that the Bible was written by MEN...?
The Bible was written by MEN that were INSPIRED by GOD. You have to be HOLY and SANCTIFIED to be used by God. Many are called but few are choose because they do not live a holy sanctified life to be used by God for his purpose. We have to be very careful what we say because God watches over our words. God says "I am watching over My word to perform it." (american standard) "I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." (NIV) Jeremiah 1:12

We have a covenant relationship with God. He is going to do what He says He is going to do. That is why we know how to pray and we know how to get results when we pray. IF you do not understand God. If you do not KNOW God then you do not know how to get results and answers.

Are you suggesting fiction writes itself?
Are you talking about the product of our imagination? This is why there was a flood in the day of Noah: Genesis 6:5 "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

Our imagination and thoughts must be sanctified so that we use our imagination for good and not evil all the days of our lives.

That's the equivalent to saying " you didn't build that house, those hammers did"
1 Kings 6:7 "In building the temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry were used, and no hammer, chisel or any other iron tool was heard at the temple site while it was being built."

Today we are the temple of God. We are living stones. 1 Peter 2

"4 As you come to Him, the living stone, rejected by men, but chosen and precious in God’s sight, 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. "

You mean like Rosh Hashanah, Ramadan, Navaratri, and Muharram?
Is that all you got?

If so, then Allan's point can take a hike, can't it?

Understood.. but maybe that's the actual end of the discussion... not a "dead' end .. but an actual end. Stating that something required no form of creation.. appears to be in my view the most logical conclusion.. If you see the universe as "One".. linking everything together then yes.. It would appear that everything has always been here.. but I think our universe shows signs of age.. so that would in my opinion imply that our universe isn't that thing that wasn't subject to creation..

I'm not denying the universe shows signs of 'age', or that it didn't have a different form in the past.

But rather it's simply the fact that using "Goddidit" as a substitute for "I don't know" when it comes to answering the origin of the universe gets us nowhere in answering the question of the origin of our universe.

Now if someone could come along and give a detailed explanation as to how "Goddidit", that might be more interesting. And I don't mean simplified creation story written thousands of years ago. I mean an actual explanation of the energies and/or physical interactions involved, detailed process and methodology, etc. Something with some substance to it.

No, it's all you got. By your logic, the easter bunny exists.
My logic was simply to show that you can't just make anything up and get away with it.

Sooner or later, you're going to go outside of the "neutral zone"* and your point will fail.

* edifices, holidays, martyrs, literature, and songs

Case in point: Show me martyrs for the Easter bunny.

Lol. L. Ron Hubbard literally made up an entire religion - in your lifetime - and is “getting away with it.”

And martyrs, really? So boring av
