An answer to prayer in getting someone to fix a problem with the house.

A nice dinner out with my daughter and her family last night. It was at one of my favorite places - Cracker Barrel.

Seeing my eldest son today and noting how much more relaxed and refreshed he was today and for the laughs we had together.

The central heating being fixed - it's been cold enough to have it on! (...and there was nothing wrong with the boiler, it was the computerised thermostat which had packed up! You probably know my views on that from other threads! ) However I'm really thankful to the Lord for it being fixed and for the nice young man who replaced it with a straightforward new thermostat.

God watching over my younger son.

The Lord's blessings today - they have been amazing!

A deeper understanding of the Lord taking my sin upon Him. Imagining Someone so pure and loving taking my filthy deeds on Him is amazing. Through acceptance of His death in my place and repentance of sin I am completely forgiven. Thank you Lord!

Help from my son when rearranging a room here at home. He provided all the muscle power needed to shift the furniture around.

I'm thankful that today is going to be cooler than yesterday!

Today I'm grateful that the Lord gave us a sense of humour.

Hubby's safe treatment of a ground wasp nest in our wood pile the past few nights.
This week a 48 year old healthy man died after being swarmed while caring for his meticulous property
He was preparing his yard for a homecoming party for his daughter
May God rest his soul and comfort his family in their shock and grief

I was in the hospital yesterday, and I am still cancer free. Thank you Lord.
