The problem with deliverance is that while it is a real need, and demonic oppression is a real issue (I have experienced it due to occult/new age dabbling) - I think opening a forum for it would just cause troubles.
There's some very bad advice out there about what is essentially - or should be - a simple topic.

There is always bad advice on any topic anywhere. Not having a forum for those topics do not stop those threads from being created though, they just scatter under unrelated forums, which is what happens at the moment.
Having said that, I am happy to just have a New Age/Occult forum without the Spiritual Deliverance mentioned in the forum name if the administrators consider it not a good idea.

Dave-W is correct in that this is best handled offline with a pastor or church body. CF has the rule that deliverance and instructions on battling demons cannot be posted here because there can be spiritual or psychological danger to the member, and we cannot verify the advice given to members here.

Can we still have a forum for discussions about New Age and Occult without deliverance? It can be explicitly stated in the statement of purpose of the forum that instructions on how to complete deliverance are not allowed.

I would like a forum dedicated specifically for any discussions pertaining to the New Age and Occult such as Astrology, Yoga, Numerology, Tarot cards, Enneagram, Diamond Approach, Ouija Board, Out of Body Experiences, New Age music, etc. but not limited to those.
I notice many people, Christians and non-Christians alike, do not understand the nature of many beliefs and practices have a connection with the occult, and have seen those threads coming up every now and then under unrelated forums. So I think it would be good to group them all into one forum and have this type of knowledge centralized instead of scattering all over the forums.

As Forum Rules do not allow discussion about deliverance.
I do not see why such a forum is needed to discuss New Age, Occult etc without being able to discuss the solution which is freedom which often comes through the ministry of Deliverance Luke 4:18 Acts 10:38.

It would be ideal if general principles of deliverance could be discussed on this forum. But given most people who are curious about certain New Age and occult beliefs are usually not at the stage of being possessed yet, it would still be useful to discuss the potential danger of those deceptive philosophies and their connections with deceiving spirits so that people are aware.

Well, when I was an Eclectic Witch it would have been nice for a Christian to care enough to talk about my beliefs back then and not think of me as a lost cause. Maybe any members identified as a pagan would like a path towards Christ and how they can get out of the bondage of puny "gods."

In this day and age many people especially the young ones go to the internet for everything. Personally ministry is the best I agree. But isn't that true on any topic?
If we aren't allowed to talk about it here I find that SHAMEFUL. No one should ban any part of the Bible. I'm very disappointed in this web site now when just a few days ago I was so happy to find it.

@DoingWhatJesusDid I agree it is a very bad situation, not being able to even discuss deliverance. But at the same time, I have a sense that the legal environment concerning liability would be horrendous, and ruinous to the site. I wish I had an answer, because I feel a real need is not being addressed.

The problem lies in conflicting advice, some of which may be straight out of the pit itself. There is no way to control the input of a mass crowd from dozens of doctrinal and experiential backgrounds.

How is that different than any other topic? Is rapture only a theory or real? If real is it pre turn mid trib or post trib? My point is everything can have a variety of viewpoints.
Better to read a variety and then make up your mind on what you feel God leads to to believe it or do then show up in someone's office having only one view point or posdibly not effective method and misleading someone who hasn't had a degree of input or research.
