How does our souls get purified? I mean does something happen inside of us that we can feel?
When we pray to God or read the Bible our soul is purified by being close to God's holiness.

Yea I know but can one feel the spirit working inside of them in some way?
Sometimes, but our feelings are fickle and subject to change and imperfect. I have felt the Holy Spirit indwelling and acting within me, and it is comforting and reassuring, but most of the time He feels absent...but I KNOW from His word, His promises, and those previous feelings that Hecis still there, active and present...even though my emotions might say otherwise.

Does Jesus comes and go?

Does Jesus comes and go?
My answer would be “no”, He is steadfast and constant, even if we are not aware of Him. Our perceptions are imperfect, but He is faithful.

I agree with post #2. Jesus said in John 15:3, it is His Word that has the power to cleanse us. It is because His graceful speech has a unique power to convict in a way that heals us. Whereas an unholy spirit might accuse us in a convicting way, but so as to destroy us. It is the love of The Holy Spirit that makes His conviction capable of healing us, but it also requires us to be inclined toward repentance. This means that if He convicts us and we do not follow Him on the path He is leading us, we have abandoned Him for sin. You can see this happening in John 6:60-66. To a new reader, it might seem that the ones who turned from Him were right to do so, but keep in mind that these ones had spent a lot of time with Jesus and He had groomed their thoughts to have a particular understanding that not everyone who reads the bible will have. At this point in His teaching, we see that they had been pressed to grow in such way that they chose to abandon the path. This is always a risk for us, hence His speech in John 15:4, Matthew 7:14, 1 Timothy 1:19, Romans 11:20-22.

This is why a personal relationship with Jesus is central in Christianity, it is because His objective in salvation is to craft us into a saint that does not have any inclination to sin. This is the natural state for a human - we were made straight and we have been trained into corruption by the people in the world who are not saintly (Ecclesiastes 7:29, Romans 5:12, Ecclesiastes 5:8). In order for us to be refined and restored (Malachi 3:1-4, see John 14:15-27), we need to have all of that corruption purged from us and our saintly nature re-trained in us (Romans 12:2, Revelation 18:4). Only The Holy Spirit is perfectly capable of teaching us that, because a) He is holy, and b) He knows us better than we know ourselves.

This is why I emphasise strongly to those who pursue His discipline (Hebrews 12:5-10), to remove all worldly influences and establish The Holy Spirit's influence exclusively (1 Corinthians 15:33, therefore cut out TV, especially shows with poor conduct: sex, violence, conceited characters etc, and listen to lots of praise music to keep your spirit elevated in joy and gratefulness).
