The persecution is getting worse as the Church continues to bow its knee to moral relativism and political and social correctness.

The Father's voice is not always soft and gentle. In the same way, when Sons prophesy, minister, or praise the Father in the Holy Spirit, it's not always soft and gentle.

It can be a thunderous voice that shatters the rock. Different forms of worship or prophetic declarations can usher in different manifestations of His glory and presence.

It's not profitable to hastily discount a Word merely because it makes our flesh uncomfortable. We may risk quenching the Holy Spirit's work (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22).

'Listen closely to the thunder of His voice,
And the rumbling that goes out from His mouth.

“Under the whole heaven He lets it loose,
And His lightning to the ends of the earth.

“After it, a voice roars;
He thunders with His majestic voice,
And He does not restrain the lightnings when His voice is heard' Job 37:2-4

'Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?' Jeremiah 23:9

To hear God's voice we need to know the spoken (Logos) and written (Grapha) Word. Then we can know the living (Rhema) Word.

If the prophetic is not rooted in the Word, you can get ineffective words because it's from human inspiration and not Holy Spirit.

Yahweh does not give general words of knowledge. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.

It's good to encourage but even unbelievers make good motivational speakers. Believers can be special utensils for honorable use.

'For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost' 2 Peter 2:21

Gifting is no different from maintaining an increased proficiency in foreign languages or going to the gym to maintain or increase muscle. 'You don't use it, you lose it' Matthew 25:29

People operating all the time, cannot accept this perspective because they never stopped. Todd White, Dan Mohler, Blake Curry.

Any believer who consistently operates in healings, the prophetic, and casting out demons cannot accept a lesser (false) reality.

'If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit' 2 Corinthians 5:13

So God has been faithful to anoint good stewards for the Kingdom work, while they work He will grow them in wisdom as well.

In fact, people consistently walking in power cannot help but be outraged at such a soulish perspective...it is a carnal attitude.

You can be filled with Holy Spirit and still think like a child. Bad spot to be in, throwing tantrums at every Bible Scholar.

'Brothers, do not be children in the minds. Yet in the evil, be little children; but in the thinking, be full grown' 1 Corinthians 14:20

'Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete].

But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face.

Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love' 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 (AMP)

Paul's thorn in the flesh was not just physical afflictions, it was the carnal people uprooting everything He had just planted.

No one suffered like the Apostle Paul did (Except Christ). Here Paul describes his thoughts and weaknesses out loud. It is a precious insight into His sufferings for Christ that I cannot help but sympathize with. He describes His spiritual chains in regard to the carnal Church of Corinth.

'Now I have applied these things [that is, the analogies about factions] to myself and Apollos for your benefit, believers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written [in Scripture], so that none of you will become arrogant and boast in favor of one [minister or teacher] against the other.

For who regards you as superior or what sets you apart as special? What do you have that you did not receive [from another]? And if in fact you received it [from God or someone else], why do you boast as if you had not received it [but had gained it by yourself]?

[You behave as if] you are already filled [with spiritual wisdom and in need of nothing more]. Already you have become rich [in spiritual gifts]! You [in your conceit] have ascended your thrones and become kings without us; and how I wish [that it were true and] that you did reign as kings, so that we might reign with you.

For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles at the end of the line, like men sentenced to death [and paraded as prisoners in a procession], because we have become a spectacle to the world [a show in the world’s amphitheater], both to angels and to men. We are [regarded as] fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are highly esteemed, but we are dishonored.

To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty; we are continually poorly dressed, and we are roughly treated, and wander homeless. We work [for our living], working hard with our own hands. When we are reviled and verbally abused, we bless. When we are persecuted, we take it patiently and endure. When we are slandered, we try to be conciliatory and answer softly. We have become like the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now' 1 Corinthians 4:6-13 (AMP)

'This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells]' Hebrews 6:19 (AMP)

Sound Biblical teaching on Sexual Purity.

'How can a young person stay pure?
By obeying your word.
I have tried hard to find you—
don’t let me wander from your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
I praise you, O Lord;
teach me your decrees.
I have recited aloud
all the regulations you have given us.
I have rejoiced in your laws
as much as in riches.
I will study your commandments
and reflect on your ways.
I will delight in your decrees
and not forget your word' Psalm 119:9-16 (NLT)

Deliverance doesn't have to be like a flashy Catholic exorcism, it can be as simple as removing an unexplainable head pressure.

In the same way that healing removes pain or restores broken bones, deliverance removes a headache or years of substance abuse.

Voluntarily drinking from the cup of demons (spiritism and devil worship) violates God's Holy Spirit and may provoke His jealousy.

We must understand that Holy Spirit can be grieved, quenched, or insulted (outraged). All Biblical, for He is a living being.

Holy Spirit's feelings - Ephesians 4:30, Hebrews 10:29, 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8, Leviticus 10:1-3, 1 Corinthians 10:14-22.

Believers who severely violate God's Holy Spirit with the profane, they may need to confess and repent first to be made right with Him.

We all have things that affect us more than others, it is no different from Holy Spirit. Certain things affect Him differently too

'“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.' Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV)

Can a believer be oppressed/possessed by demons? Yes, their flesh/soul can be if they're indulging in the sin nature.

'WOW! look what I found? Jesus said "deliverance from demons was Children"s bread (people in a covenant with God)Mar 7:26 Now the woman happened to be a Greek, born in Phoenicia in Syria. She kept asking him to drive the demon out of her daughter.Mar 7:27 But he kept telling her, "First let the children be filled. It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the puppies.( non covenantt people)"

So looks like we are in agreement with Jesus when we state Christians (people in the New Covenant) can have a demon in their flesh and it their right to have it casted out. It is the christians bread too.So why is there any christians even arguing that a christian can not have a demon in their flesh? but He is saying also non covenant people do not have that right and that why why you can not cast a demon out of a non believer today, They are covenanted to the devil not Jesus.Get them saved then delivered. That is why paul did not cast the demon out of the scorer in Acts 13: because he was not saved so he just blinded him .for a while. He had legal rights.Act 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
Act 13:11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
Why? Why? Why? Did he not cast it out if he had the authority to cast it out over his own will because it says clearly he was a child of the devil. So art why did he cast it out of the girl that had a spirit of divination in acts 16? Why I believe because she was born again at Lydia house and kept following paul. Remember she kept saying " follow these men which shew "us"the way of salvation". She said paul shew us not you as most translations have it but the KJ has us.Big difference. We know she never went back to witch craft, So why did not paul lead her to Christ then? Because she was already a christian and just needed to be delivered, Both of these are the same but one he blinds and the other he casts the demon out. Does God just love one over the other or does one had children bread rights?Act 16:17 The same followed Paul and "us", and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. Act 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. Act 16:19 "And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone" (she never went back), they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,' - Art Montgomery

'Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn, and weep. Turn your laughter to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you' James 4:7-10

'Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. Consider what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what zeal, what vindication! In every way you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter' 2 Corinthians 7:10-11

Repenting to submission under the Lordship of Christ is the practical and Biblical way to do 'self-deliverance'. When I started seriously repenting God delivered me from various types of demons and evil spirits via intercessory prayer and mourning. I was at the time, reading the books of Jeremiah and Job when His mighty hand broke a generational curse (a large dark clawed arm that was lodged in my shoulder, I was able to see it in the spirit realm) off of my body and soul and filled me with His Holy Spirit. Yes, I did see the manifestation of wickedness often before the Lord delivered me into the Kingdom of light. I had considered myself a 'believer' for ~19 years before then but it was the enemy speaking lies to keep me from knowing Jesus as He wanted me to.

You can't convince me that 'believers' (most use that term in a casual sense) cannot be oppressed or possessed by demons. Ephesians 2:1-3 says before an authentic covenant with Christ Messiah, we are by nature of Adam, in covenant as children of the devil and every other evil spirit that works in the kingdom of darkness. 1 John 3 clearly defines the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil. Yes, not everyone who calls themselves a believer is actually in an authentic covenant with Christ Messiah. It is the harsh reality. While we are in union with the Kingdom of darkness there is no protection from the evil one. So when praying for someone who is (by knowledge of the fruit they bear) not of the good tree (Christ), they will not be completely set free until they receive Jesus Christ as their LORD and savior.

On a different note, prior to full immersion water Baptism, I was already speaking in tongues and had done miracles in Jesus name. I'm still fully convinced that full immersion water baptism in Jesus name, is not optional for anyone who calls him Lord. Water Baptism is something we may not opt to do out of ignorance or doctrinal error, but I fully consider it part of the doctrine of salvation (soteriology). Just thought I'd share this little testimony of jumbled thoughts that are Scriptural. I don't necessarily consider my dead self of any relevance but maybe it helps someone understand something.
