Can people be a Christian and still be a heretic?

God's Word said:

Titus 3:10-11

"A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."

I Corinthians 11:19

"For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you."

Heretics are rejected, subverted sinners who are not approved of God and are condemned of themselves. They don't sound like Christians to me.

Actually that is a good verse. Gotta watch out for those sneaky "wolves".....

Matthew 23:4
"For They are binding burdens, weighty/barea <926> and ill-bearing.
And they are placing upon the shoulders of the men, to the yet finger of them, not are willing to move them".

Luke 10:3
`Be ye going away! behold!I am dispatching ye as lambs in midst of wolves;

Acts 20:29
For I have-perceived this.
That shall be into-coming, after the departure of Me, wolves, weighty/bareiV <926>, into ye,
no sparing of the shepherded/flock/poimniou <4168>........

But according to Isaiah 11:6, the wolf and lamb shall dwell together?

Isa 11:6
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them. [Jeremiah 5:6/Luke 2:42]
Luk 2:42
And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast.
47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

What I found interesting is Benjamin being labeled as a wolf in Gene 49, and guess who is from the tribe of Benjamin in the NT........

Gen 49:27
“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;
In the morning he shall devour the prey,
And at night he shall divide the spoil.”

Rom 11:1
I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not!
For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Phl 3:5
circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin,
a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;

You won't lose salvation for believing wrong things. Believing the Bible helps with believing the right things. Yet we see imperfectly and still believe some things wrongly. But recognition of a life with sin, and repenting of sin, trusting God and living for what God will want, which would be available through Jesus Christ and all he accomplished for atonement, will work for the needed salvation.

Part of the issue of there being heresy is with the uncertainties there are with no longer trusting biblical creationism. There could be more openness in that to what might further compromise believing scripture passages.
