I'm back. It's been a long time since I was here, and as I recall, last time I was a...butthead. I'm pretty sure that's the most severe word for it I can get away with here.
If I was a butthead to you, I'm sorry. I ask forgiveness from those who have had issues with me. I've done some growing up, so I hope you won't mind if I stick around. My name is Rob. I'm 32, single, and in Colorado. I've put in requests to change my username to something more fitting, and to change my faith icon to reflect my renewed faith in Jesus Christ.

I was thoroughly invested in my doll. Lordy, that sounds peculiar. But they were ridiculous. Mine had dreadlocks and a fork at one point, I think. We're better without them, in my opinion. I'm happy with the format CF has now.Ohh okay I recognize the username Quoth.

Haha. I think I was more invested in other peoples dolls than I was my own. And I think that sounds even stranger.
I also had some variation of red hair, and usually wore some kind of camo outfit. I like how it's set up now too but sometimes I do miss the dolls, and the more ways we could use blessings. And the blessings bank! Anywhoooo.

Although I don't know if I'm about to leave just yet, I feel like I'm slowly on my way to doing so (benevolently). The role of this forum in my spiritual journey has been interesting, but has more or less gone its full course--I know what I believe, what I don't believe, what I don't find to be essential to my faith, what I do, and where I believe I am headed as far as my 'spiritual endeavors' go.
I went from someone who had only read one of the gospels--as far as reading a full book of the Bible goes--out of context/consideration with the rest of scripture (other than a few things I indirectly learned of through other means, and general, second-hand knowledge of Christianity and my belief in God that I knew I had even prior to ever reading a book of the Bible), to someone who knows where he is spiritually and has, in a short amount of time, done an intense amount of theological study. I have gone from a church environment that I didn't theologically belong in to one that I could imagine staying in for 40, 50, 60... however many years I have left, really.
I feel like I've done about as much theological study as I have been guided to do, other than that I am continuing to read from the Bible everyday, and I enjoy devotionals. I'm in a good place, and I feel a good sense of complacence (not the lazy kind, but the 'at peace with it all, even at moments in which conditions aren't theoretically the greatest' kind).
