Some good people who were oppressed by the devil....

Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. - 1 Thessalonians 2:18
I hope the members here understand that there is a difference between being oppressed by the devil and possessed by the devil. There are many, I would say, who are oppressed by the devil on a daily basis, especially the many children being bullied in the public school system. The difference being, that they still maintain their Christian character and walk with the Lord.
I share a video in the prayer forum in which RW Schambach prays that the devil takes his hands off God's property. This is not to suggest a Christian is possessed by the devil, but to pray for one who is oppressed by the devil and in need of deliverance. As Christian people I believe the best of us can on occasions be oppressed by some evil whether it is on the job, in the family, in our mind, our spirit, or in our physical bodies. And a prayer of deliverance is sometimes in order...
