Well back to the ole drawing board.I thought for sure I had that guy in there.
, I can appreciate that you are putting in some thought to a start to finish end times scenario.
Basically, it is a matter of tracking the end times arch villain. And overlaying what he does on the 7 year end times timeline.
The end times arch villain is labeled various labels, in the end times passages. Unfortunately, there is an almost universal tendency to call the person the Antichrist as an all encompassing term for the person.
The actual case is that the person is the Antichrist for a limited amount of time on the 7 year timeline.
The arch villain's labels are:
1. the little horn in Daniel 7 and 8
2. the prince who shall come in Daniel 9:6
3. the antichrist in 1John2:18
4. the revealed man of sin, son of perdition in 2thessalonians2:3-4
5. the beast in Revelation 13, 11, 16, 19
6. the willful king in Daniel 11:36
Those are enough to get you on track.
The reason it is not Trump... is because for the period the person actually is in the Antichrist role - he has to be the King of Israel - which in turn means the person has to be a Jew.
Here's how we know what the Antichrist means and will be. Jesus was the one God actually sent to the Jews to be their King of Israel - the term "the messiah" implies a King that God had promised to send to Israel to be their king to lead them and the rest of the world into the messianic age of peace and safety among other things.
The pharisees rejected Jesus because all through the New Testament Jesus was constantly critical of them because they had perverted the laws that God gave coming out of the Egypt and at Mt. Sinai.
What happened when the Jews went into the Babylonian exile, and the first temple destroyed, that left Judaism in a problem situation because Judaism centered totally around the activities associated with the temple, the various Holy Days, and rituals, like sacrifices, atonement's, ritual cleansing. No temple equals no Judaism essentially.
So what them who went into the exile did was seek to replace that which was lost with prayer, but also added their own extension of the laws that God gave, expanding it. The expansion based on their own commentary was called the oral law....which twisted what God had said to them. It ended up with a bunch of complicated overbearing man-made rules, that no-one could keep. And it empowered the pharisees which were nothing but rabbi's. The Jews (Judaism) elevates such men of the exile period as their "sages".
Anyway, Jesus was so critical of the pharisees and their twisted laws, that they sought to kill him. Which eventually ended up Jesus was crucified.
At the crucifixion. some of the scribes (the highest ranking of the religious leaders) mocked Jesus saying....
Mark 15:32
Let
Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
So from that verse, we can know spelled out that Christ means the King of Israel. By taking the prefix "Anti" meaning instead of and/or against, and adding it to
Christ the King of Israel - to get
"Anti-Christ the King of Israel. Or simply Anti-Christ - someone who will become King of Israel instead of and against Jesus the rightful King of Israel.
To be embraced by Jews (Judaism), and thought of as their promised great King of Israel descended from King David - the person has to be a Jew and his religion Judaism. Which let's Donal Trump out.
Remember though, that being the King of Israel is only a temporary role that the arch villain goes through. When he claims to be God - the Jews are going to be mortified and that will end his time as being their King and they are going to reject him. Which of course has it's repercussions - and shortly leads into the great tribulation.
So you got to read up on all of those passages I gave you on the arch villain, and in addition I would suggest go to Judaism 101.com
Judaism 101: Mashiach: The Messiah and read up on what they expect of the mashiach (their word for messiah) to see how they are going to be fooled for a while by the person, And start to put together things on a 7 year timeline.
The 7 years, the elements are:
1260 days - Revelation 11:3, 12:6
42 months - Revelation 11:2, 13:5
a time, times, a half times - Revelation 12:14, Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7
1290 days, 1335th day - Daniel 12:11-12
2300 days - Daniel 8:14
3 1/2 days - Revelation 11:11
one week (7years) - Daniel 9:27 (Deuteronomy 31:10)
Okay that's a lot. To make it more simple, the arch villian's starting and ending roles - is he starts as the little horn in Daniel 7 (Daniel 8 gives more information about him) and ends when he becomes the beast in Revelation 13. Everything else fits between those two roles... including being the Antichrist for a while.
It's not Trump, nor anyone who is not a Jew. The person has to come from somewhere that was once part of the former Roman Empire, not here in the U.S. My view is out of the EU. But the EU has got to change it's government structure for the little horn to come to power. That is what I am watching for.
Many blessings on your pursuit.
