This is certainly an intriguing theory on what happened with the Ark of the Covenant.

There are rumours that the Ark that was in Ethiopia is now in Israel.

To my thinking the year 2030 is extremely important in whatever is going to happen toward the fulfillment of the Jerusalem Third Temple Complex as predicted in Ezekiel chapters 40 - 48.

"In a September 1935, article in the National Geographic magazine, L. Roberts recorded his interviews with various priests in different parts of Ethiopia who consistently told the same story. They recounted that the Queen of Sheba had visited King Solomon and had had "a child", Menelik I. Solomon educated the lad in Jerusalem until he was nineteen years old. The boy then returned to Ethiopia with a large group of Jews, taking with him the true Ark of the Covenant.....

"The Ethiopian official national epic known as the Glory of the Kings (Kebra-Nagasi) contains an amazing story which offers an explanation of what happened to the Ark of the Covenant. In addition, there are several Ethiopian murals which tell how the Ark and the Tablets of the Law were taken to Ethiopia for safekeeping by Prince Menelik I. ..... The Queen of Sheba, his mother, had died and the prince prepared to leave Jerusalem to return twenty-five hundred miles to his native country to become its king.

Prince Menelik bore an uncanny resemblance in beauty and regal bearing to his father. King Solomon wanted to give him a replica of the Ark to take with him to Ethiopia because the long distance would prevent him from ever again worshipping at the temple in Jerusalem.
However Prince Menelik was concerned with the growing apostasy of Israel and the fact that his father, Solomon was now allowing idols to be placed in the Temple to please his pagan wives. King Solomon gave the prince a going-away banquet and after the priests were filled with wine, Menelik and his loyal associates switched arks and left the replica in its place in the Holy of Holies.// (Grant Jeffrey, [page 115, Armageddon, Appointment with Destiny).

You could be correct but at least those quotations do give some interesting evidence that at least one, perhaps two, ancient Arks of the Covenant do exist and could be put in place quickly. I am of the belief that the fulfillment of Zechariah chapter 14....depends on the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple.

2 Chronicles 35: 1 And Josiah kept a passover unto the LoRD in Jerusalem; and they killed the passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the first month. And he set the priest in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LoRD. And he said unto the Levite that taught all Israel, that were unto the LoRD: Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; there shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders.

The (Jewish) Soncino Commentary (p. 334-335) states of Put the holy ark, etc., that, "It must have been removed from its place in the Holy of Holies during the period of apostasy in one of the preceding reigns, and King Josiah now ordered it to be restored. A Rabbinical explanation is that he commanded it to be hidden in a secret place so that it would escape capture by an invading army."

The Soncino also provides a date for Josiah: 31 years of reigning in Judah (starting at age eight under guidance of priests and elders -see 2nd Kings 22:1), commencing in 637 BCE, nearly 300 years after Shishak's invasion. Price places these events at about 622 BCE. Therefore it would appear that: if the Ark was taken, it must have been in the time of the prophet Jeremiah and the invasion by Nebuchadnezzar.

It's a replica they have in Ethiopia. There are no two arks of the covenants.

Zedekiah brought the ultimate disaster to his country by failing to heed Jeremiah, refusing to honor God, and even choosing to pollute the Temple with abominations (idols).

2 Chronicles 36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God; great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon. And they burnt the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah...

Thus, after several attacks on Jerusalem with treasures of the Temple being taken by or offered to foreign kings, the First Temple was destroyed in 586 BCE. There is no mention of the Ark being put into or seen in the Second Temple.

The Second Temple was constructed with permission of King Cyrus of Persia. It was completed in 516 BCE; later it was rebuilt in splendid fashion by King Herod the Great; and finally it was destroyed by Titus and the Roman legion in 70 CE. The Arch of Titus in Rome recalls the destruction of that Temple and portrays treasure taken from it, but does not display the Ark as one of those treasures. This fact would seem to cast doubt on any theories that the Ark is in the Vatican treasuries. There simply is no evidence that the Ark was in Jerusalem and its Second Temple to be available for capture when the Romans destroyed the Temple.

I believe that Ark has rotten alredy and it's good for garbage . It was made out of wood covered by Gold and that wood is too old . Real Ark was always in heaven.

But Ethiopia will present gift of mercy seat - seat made of pure gold and i personally believe that this is that throne of David which will be here so Jesus can rule from it in millenial kingdom .

The throne of David is different than the Mercy seat. Professor Odlum, who was a geologist and professor of theology at Ontario University. He made microscopic examinations of the stone, comparing it to quarries in both Scotland and Ireland, and found it dissimilar to stones from those areas. He became intrigued with the idea of that it might really be the stone of Jacob which later became the throne of David.

That hypothesis could be tested scientifically by searching to see if a similar type of rock is found near Bethel, where Jacob found his stone. After considerable searching he found some strata rather high near a cliff that had exactly the type of composition he was looking for. He chipped off a piece and later performed microscopic tests. He concluded that his sample "matched perfectly" with the coronation stone. Jacob's Pillar, p. 60.

What proof do you have that The Ark is in Jerusalem?

Not exactly proof... but there is a rumor that an Ark is hidden under the Temple Mount...... but it may have been the original Ark of the Covenant that was recently taken back from Ethiopia....... if the tradition quoted in post #1 turns out to be true..........
This is above my Security Clearance Level.... so I am just quoting others...... I don't know!

Then again.... .we have the miracle of Aaron's rod that produced buds............. so the wood in the ARk does not actually have to rot.

Do the resarch

I have. We have a recent story by Ron Wyatt with absolutely no proof whatsoever where there should be a ton. Then we have a centuries old Tradition which IMO lines up. Any others I am not aware of?

I know that this is a rather strange thing to say but I personally believe that King David himself would approve if the young Israeli near death experiencer Natan was considered for the role of a modern David. The Jews have a tradition that something big happens in 2017........ and Natan's humility and zeal and wisdom since his NDE.... makes him something of a modern Moses in my opinion!

He could have a tremendously positive effect on Israel if he could maintain that humility if it was combined with fame and wealth.
