Hi F4C,

You responded to my post:
If any nation is unstable and says they want to be able to hit you with a nuclear weapon should not have one.

How exactly did that play out when we dropped two such weapons on Japan? Wasn't that exactly the president's response to NK? I don't think many would doubt that right now our nation seems pretty unstable.

However, I'm still not sure that while some of us may speak as you do about other nations that are unstable, that we are the rulers of the world that get to decide who gets nuclear weaponry and who doesn't. Russia has quite a few nuclear weapons. Pakistan has nuclear weapons. India and China have nuclear weapons. Who died and put us in charge of regulating nuclear weaponry in all these other nations? Sure, we don't want them to have them, but do we really have the right as a sovereign nation to tell another sovereign nation what they can and cannot have?

We're the ugly Americas to many of these other nations. We live in such great luxury and power and we wield that power with great might and force over other nations. Who or what gives us the right to do that? There are plenty of problems with our governmental ideology. We have the highest murder rate in the world. Is that the hallmark of the greatest nation in the world? We can't even get along among ourselves and yet we get to tell all the other nations of the world how they get to live. You see some sort of righteousness in that I suppose.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Hi F4C,

You also responded:
If a nuclear nation and a global superpower tells you to not build nuclear bombs or they might destroy you, you should probably listen to it as it has great weight to it. Also when other country's like South Korea, Australia and Japan say they will join in if a war is started. You should listen. When you threaten countries with nuclear firepower and then are confronted by the UN as countries around the world tell you to back down as you are being hit by sanctions and your own allies tell you to back down then you should. By not doing so Kim has put his country in danger of having nuclear sites wiped out and thousands upon thousands of his people dying. So yes a country that has the power and authority of United Nations around the world can tell you to back down as they have the power to do something about it including sanctions which will hurt your country or war that can destroy your country. With that authority you can tell them what to do.

Yes, and all of that explains why NK wants to have nuclear weapons. As a sovereign nation they also want to be able to protect themselves just as much as we do. Just as much as SK, Australia and Japan do. Let's just get rid of all of them and be done with the whole issue. NK will never have to fear that we will attack them with nuclear weapons or that China will attack them. You see, you think this is all just the U.S. and NK, but NK has had a rather tumultuous relationship with China. Maybe they want nuclear capabilities because they fear an attack by China and not the U.S. Maybe it's more important to them to be able to stand with these other supposedly 'great' nations that have nuclear weaponry than to bow to the U.N. or the U.S. or Japan or Australia.

Just get rid of all the nuclear weapons and if a war breaks out in the future, it will be fought with conventional weapons that every nation has in their arsenal. I mean, I don't see the U.N. or the U.S. or Japan or China or SK trying to tell NK that it can't have tanks, artillery, soldiers and automatic weapons. What's the big difference if one nation has nuclear capabilities that all the nations can't have nuclear capabilities?

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Hi again F4C,

You also make the claim that NK is unstable. Why? The U.S. has been a far worse warmongering nation than NK could ever dream of being. We've invaded more countries and principalities than any other single nation on the face of the earth. Yet, you call NK unstable? Now, they may not run their government the way you'd like them to run their government. They might not give their people the same freedoms that we do, but that doesn't make a nation unstable. It just makes it a nation on the earth that you may not like. China, Pakistan and India don't give their people the same freedoms that we have. Are they likewise unstable? How come they get to have nuclear weapons? It's an honest question that I think NK is asking. Why them and not us?

Oh, and BTW, if they were trying to hit Guam, then we don't have anything to fear from NK. They missed by several hundred miles.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

Hi all,

Maybe President Kim feels like Stephen King concerning the leadership of President Trump:

The prolific author has also argued Mr Trump’s access to nuclear weapons is “worse than any story” he has written, saying "Trump's tweets in his first hundred days draw a pretty clear portrait: he's an almost textbook case of narcissistic personality disorder".

He added: “That this guy has his finger on the nuclear trigger is worse than any horror story I ever wrote.”

God bless,

At this point negotiations have failed and every peaceful solution from Trump to past administrations have failed to stop North Korea from pursuing nuclear weapons that can hit the United States and our allies. Sanctions have done nothing nor has pressuring them to do the right thing. The only option I believe is to do a preemptive strike to take out their nuclear capabilities and leadership before it gets out of hand. We have military forces from South Korea, Australia, and of course Japan to help us out if needed.

I agree completely. It's far past time to use overwhelming force to put North Korea back in its box. Talking and diplomacy is a waste of time. Waiting just makes the stakes higher.

there are many books written about escaping from NK, as not all the people there are brainwashed:
10 illuminating books about North Korea

I was hoping we could train others and equip them for a coup.

Anyway, we got bin laden, so I have faith that we can do the same here.

either other special forces or our own.

I wonder what are we waiting for ?

Where are the black helicopters?

The DPRK is not the aggressor here...
Of course not. I m sure it would be completely nonaggressive for us to start popping off missiles that fly right over mexico. I'm sure we could even reach over England with the stuff we have... they should understand. Perfectly acceptable.

Have ever played RISK? Line in Sand follow by empty threat is basic strategy of beginner players. But that is Trump response. Kim Jong Un laugh in Trump face. Sad is Trump not learn. Use same beginner failed strategy over and over. Kim Jong Un laugh in Trump face over and over. Trump unable to adapt.

Need someone who has negotiate skills. Need someone who has knowledge of world affair. Need someone who has respect. Need someone who is quick minded. Other words need someone opposite of Trump to handle problem.

Trump is too proud to allow his threats to remain empty, and KJU is too stupid to realize that.

I just wonder whether Kings' David or Solomon would have given this as much thought as we do ?
Well anyway, the North Koreans do not live in a world in which negotiation has a place, only the guy with the most to lose.
And as they see it, the South is going to lose more if there's conflict.
So they bait the allies in the region and thoroughly enjoy taking a dig at the Americans.
Unfortunately for them Pres Trump isn't a politician
and if Kim whatever, whatever touches an American interest then he and his regime of happy clappies are going to need some sun block.

At what point do we stop this?

Diplomacy and threats are always the first line of order when the US is threatened.
That may or may not include a "get their attention" explosion or two.
However plan B does not require an enemies participation in the round-table.
Plan B IS anti-missile strike that is in place and constantly monitored, and constantly engineered for improvement to the precise target, which is the enemies launched missile.

That expertise "we" have vested in the US military. Be patient, they are not lax in knowledge and capabilities.

God Bless,

Negotiate? He already agreed to stop launching missiles, while he continued to launch missiles. What do you think the sanctions against N. Korea were for?

Sounds weak-kneed and insecure that you think it a big deal when one laughs at another.

The US could literally wipe N.Korea off the map in a heart-beat.
However HAVING such capability and being responsible for such capability IS the method of the US -
And N. Korea obtaining such capability in light of its irresponsibility is the concern....
NOT - that some fat-boy has the giggles.

God Bless,

The short answer is yes. If a nuclear nation and a global superpower tells you to not build nuclear bombs or they might destroy you, you should probably listen to it as it has great weight to it. Also when other country's like South Korea, Australia and Japan say they will join in if a war is started. You should listen. So yes a country that has the power and authority of United Nations around the world can tell you to back down as they have the power to do something about it including sanctions which will hurt your country or war that can destroy your country. With that authority you can tell them what to do. As God has put us in a position of power to protect lesser nations and to support Isreal and our other allies.

Clearly you've never had the job of considering the real options and their aftermath. Haven't had to write post-strike operations plans that must begin with "who is still alive?"

You haven't been in the room when it truly looked like we were doing it, actually planning a nuclear attack, watching even generals looking like they're about to vomit.

You clearly have never been in that room.

There is this puerile notion that a big guy can be a bully and make little guys do what they demand. That might work in playgrounds. It doesn't work in the real world.

The real problem with threatening other heads of state is an old, old quote: "Never frighten a man smaller than you. A man is not going to live his life in fear, he's going to shoot you in the back when he gets the chance."

The problem is this:

China will protect NK at all costs. They have sure said if NK hits first they will not intervene but NK knows they can do whatever they want minus an actual military strike (which firing missiles is not).

So if Trump or anyone else does anything WW3 starts.

This is a grim reminder of the reality of the situation. Any large scale conflict will surely spill over into a nuclear exchange that will have devastating effects on the earth. Could quite possibly make possible the Anti-Christ.

Hi u2spicy,

Wait! Wait! You equate Osama Bin Laden and his reign of terrorism to Kim? Is that how the 'guns, guts and glory' patriots think of the U.S.? That we have the authority to just go out and murder every sovereign nation ruler that we don't happen to agree with? We ought to just rename the world as the United States of the World. Then we could have the one world government that everyone wants. Everything has to be done the way we'd do it or we'll just go in and murder you.

God bless you,
In Christ, ted

In battle of wits I put money on KJU. He definitely appear to be smarter than Trump. Pride have nothing do with Trump use very beginner strategy. Trump not know any better is problem.
