I joined weight watchers tonight. It was time for me to get some help.
Hey Congrats!
A lot of people I've been talking to recently have been joining and really enjoying it. Even my dad...my father... my old school "butter is better" dad has been playing around with the idea. I've always thought it looked nice and simple.

I am getting pretty frustrated when it comes to eating healthy. I exercise regularly now and I do eat better than I used to but I just feel pretty overwhelmed right now.

I hear ya.
When I feel like this, I usually take a step back. Just gives me a moment to focus on something else. I don't know about you, but I can kind of obsess about these kind of things, so it's always good to read your body and know when you need to just breathe. Oh and give yourself a pat on the back...bah, a huge hug. Because you've obviously been doing a lot and making huge changes which is nothing to look over.

Thanks! I think I needed to hear that and I do need to step back and breathe a little. hahaha. I have been making huge changes in my life over the last year and some just take longer than others.

EDIT: Finished my cardio! Woot woot! I hope y'all are "crushing" your goals.

Injured myself during my long run yesterday :( tried to walk the rest of it but only made it to 10 miles before the pain got bad enough I was concerned about a long term injury. Seems like I might have popped my disc again... but hopefully not.

jump rope x100 + crunches and lunges. First time in a long time that I've exercised. Need to keep it up. Watched a 6-month transformational video of one of the YouTubers I follow. I decided it was time for my own transformation. Tired of feeling tired, groggy, with back aches. So here's to 'Day One' and hopefully not..'One Day'.

I am trying to find the motivation to do anything today. WHY is it that one day I am downright excited to workout and such but then the very next day I have to MAKE myself do it?! Does anyone else have that issue?

I have the same problem! Sometimes when I'm not exercising I think about how much I want to exercise and be fit, but then when I do start exercising I have to make myself do it and just want to be done with it. It's annoying!

Yep.
Sometimes I really want to exercise when I don't have time to. Then when I do have time I have to make myself do it. But it's worth it.

I struggle to exercise because exercising is so boring to me. The only two things that don't bore me are boxing and rowing. I can't afford the rowing machine that I want, so I stick with boxing.

I got out of the habit of going regularly around last summer for...well...a multitude of reasons. One was my boxing club location is like a 45 minute drive away and it was getting tiring having to drive that distance each time I went. But just recently they finally opened a new location half the drive from me, so that's definitely good news. I'm going to try and get back into the swing things.
