Nice work... however, they pretty much all are in the same geographic area (basically). My point isn't to squabble over minutia...my point is, American Christians are geocentric and while a MILLION Sudanese Christians are slaughtered over a 20 year period... we spent that time watching ball games, Seinfeld, and Star Trek reruns. We are... and this is, to a degree, a blessing don't get me wrong... but oblivious to what is REALLY going on in the world.

This is the antichrist, a person who is possessed/empowered by Satan. Might as well say Satan. The first Beast is Islam. As we see in the Middle East and throughout the world, with over 80 terrorist groups actively persecuting Christians and Jews (as they always have) it should be no wonder who they are. Ten Islamic nations will come to against Israel in the Great Tribulation period. The three horns of the Beast that were plucked: Mubarek, Qudhafi, Sadaam (or Assad maybe). Israel is surrounded by the Beast, sorry to burst the bubbles of many who believe it is some revived Roman Empire, the EU, US. Russia does have a place in this, they are allies of Iran and Syria. And there are also scriptures that suggest the antichrist will be Assyrian. Also read Rev.20:4 which reveals their signature, chopping off heads. And their "mark" is worn on their sleeves or headbands. There you go!
Millions of Christian refugees from Muslim nations would surely agree that they are going through a Great Tribulation. The Middle East is on fire, yet this is only the beginning, the entire world gets judged soon, not just them.

The muslim nations are on the road to Gog/Magog, to invade Israel. Which will be the end of Islam. Then the 7 years of Daniel 9, that follow. Ezekiel 39:4, the feast on the dead bodies of the muslim/russian invaders, Gog's army.

Ezekiel 39:17-20, 7 years later, the feast on the dead bodies of the nations that try to make war on Jesus.

No, I don't expect a global dictator or any human being to destroy Islam. God Himself will judge the armies of the muslim/Russian invaders, in Ezekiel 38.

Historically only the king of the North and South, the Ptolemy and Seleucid. But when the Daniel 11 verses get to the end times, in the end times, the entire world, which will be powers aligned from the West, North, South, East. Tidings out of the east trouble the person - which would be the 200,000,000 strong army of the kings of the east - lead by the Chinese joining in the battle against the beast (king of the west).

The end times battles in Daniel 11 are preliminary, as God draws all nations into the middle east... and THEN the event of Revelation 6, the 6th seal take places, Jesus appears in Heaven - judgement imminent - the armies of the world already in the middle east, unite and prepare to make war on Jesus.

One of the problems with the muslim notion, beyond Gog/Magog, is the confirming of the covenant for 7 years. That requirement was established by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:9-13. But it hasn't been done for 2000 years because the Jews have not controlled the temple mount - and the muslims won't even allow Jews to pray there.

One of the requirements set forth by Moses that the confirming of the Mt. Sinai covenant be from the place of God's choosing. I have talked to Jews where they consider the place of God's choosing - and they say the Temple mount.

Can you imagine the muslims allowing that to happen - the leader of Israel standing on the temple mount saying that God promised the land of Israel to the children of Israel as theirs forever? They won't even allow Jews to pray there. And the middle east has had many wars since 1948 on who's land it is.

So the confirming of the covenant is not going to take place until after Gog/Magog, those 7 years following in the text of Ezekiel 39, and the end of Islam.

On top of that, a muslim, nor the Pope, can become the Antichrist - because neither is qualified to become the King of Israel, Son of David. The person has to be a Jew, and his religion Judaism. The person in Isaiah 14:19-20 is likened to an abominable branch - Jesus being the righteous branch.

It is key to watch Islam from the perspective of fulfilling Gog/Magog - but not as the Antichrist, or beast.
