Nonetheless, the person who carries on sinning, even after having been forgiven, is still sinning.

It's simple really. If you haven't paid for it... DON'T USE IT! you don't have the right to.

If I want to use a piece of software - I pay for it or find a free open source alternative.
If there isn't a free alternative, and I can't afford to pay for it, guess what? I don't use it.

It's the same with music. If you cannot afford to buy it, then you do without! You do not have the right to decide to just use someone elses work without permision. How about your boss tells you that he is not paying you for the work you've done this month. Is that ok? Should you have to work for less? Why should someone else?

Sorry but you need to realign yourself with biblical teaching. Stealing is wrong. Just because it's on a computer and doesn't feel like it is stealing doesn't make it right.

Since it seems they're from the U.S I suggest you tell them they can open an eBay account or Amazon to distribute music either C.Ds or tapes and if they don't care about that then donating the music to Goodwill could be an option to get a tax right off. Hope that helps

But it is still stealing. Being poor does not make it allowable. It sounds more like you are seeking permission or for someone to tell you that it's ok to continue with it... but it's not. Pretty clear cut.
