None of us are worthy. The only human that was ever worthy was Jesus the Christ. All the rest of us are just hanging on to that Jew's garment hem.

Zec 8:23 Thus said Yehovah of Hosts: In those days take hold do ten men of all languages of the nations, Yea, they have taken hold on the skirt of a man, a Jew, saying: We go with you, for we heard God is with you!

Remember the woman with the issue of blood, who knew that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment she would be healed.

Thanks Hank for the vote of confidence.

Hank,

The Jews didn't want to listen to HIM because that was what they viewed HIM as:

"just a man"

It's why they said we aren't the slave to any man. Our father is abraham

The fact that there is only ONE GOSPEL preached to ALL men

Both the unbelieving Muslim and the unbelieving Jew and every and any other unbeliever in between
And that relates to this discussion, how?

Oh, OK... I though you were objecting to my position somehow.

Were people doing the will of God before Christ?

The Jews are not jealous of Christians today, but rather turned off because of the traditions that today's Christianity has adopted from their pagan origins. You probably did not read my post on " The Stumblingblock Reversed. If the so called Christians of today had the law in their heart, they wouldn't follow traditions that are not according to God's will. The early Church decided not to force the Gentiles to circumcision, would you force the Jews to sunday worship, easter celebration, or Christmas, which are based on pagan rituals?

Lev 19:14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

If the law is written in everybody's heart why is there so much deceit in the world? Why did God command circumcision. Christ said, that love would wax cold, so how do I know who has the law in their heart from deceivers, deceived, and all else confusion that fills this world.

Answer: God and His Word, the Unleavened Bread of Sincerity and Truth. Is that law in your heart, and you have cleaned your house of unwanted things or does the Easter Bunny demand His tradition?

Those who truly love the commandments that Moses received from God have the law in their heart, just as David:

Psa 119:97 MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

Psa 119:119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

Psa 119:127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

Psa 119:159 Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

Psa 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

I guess you see that David never personally met Christ but loved God's commandments, so there is hope for the Jewish people that even without personally meeting Christ will see, hear and love Him according to His Word:

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

All hearts can be turned to do whatsoever God will's.
Amen and amen!!

Amen and amen!!

I just saw the most amazing discussion on the wall of one of my Facebook friends:

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz
20 hrs ·
Has anyone gone up to the Temple Mount and seen the Muslims acting disrespectfully towards the site (i.e. soccer, garbage, picnics, etc.) please message me

"Adam what's with you and your constant Islamaphobic and exaggerated posts? Have you ever considered that Muslims don't have the same rituals as ourselves for sites? You can't point to Mecca as an example because that entire complex is packed and blocked off from public roads." (Anonymous reply)

Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz: "This was for an article. Yes, the Muslims have picnics play soccer. Jews are not permitted to drink from the water fountains. No one is permitted to pray there except for Muslims, and they pay women to scream at Jewish visitors. All this bothers me. I resent the term Islamophobic. A phobia is a baseless or exaggerated fear. Arabs kill Jews in the street for no reason (and no media outside of Israel refers to it as terrorism). Is there anything in my attitude that seems phobic? You are horribly racist in that you think Muslims are subhuman and should not be held up to normal standards. I happen to think Muslims are capable of following the law and rules of common decency, an attitude you clearly disagree with. Please keep your racist views to yourself."

Adam's reply is brilliant.... and accurate........
and now that America has a sincere and wise President I believe that the dialogue
can be altered from the extreme political correctness of 2008 - 2016!

Here is one of Adam's articles........

Dennis Tate Sure. Go for it. The concept is not mine. It is called the soft racism of low expectations. It dominates the world's view of Israel and Palestinians. Quite literally, Palestinians are considered saintly if they don;t murder Jews who stray into their towns. In this thread, Daniel Edelstein criticized me for expecting Muslims to show common courtesy. If I turned a Mosque courtyard into a soccer field, I would be criticized, but since the positions are reversed, I am an Islamophobe.

I find nothing in the Bible where Christians are called or commanded to support the rebuilding of the Temple. However, that is not to say that Christians are to be against Israel. Even though Israel rejects the truth of God, they are still God's chosen people, and it is a not a good thing to go against what God has chosen. The Jewish people need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, that Messiah has come. And Christians need to pray for the Jewish people, that God will grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Yes....... and if they see Christians believing some of the especially challenging statements that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus made that would relate to this question then the tendency for Jews to take him seriously may increase.

The Jew's should focus on their relationship to God. Disrespect for Jews is part of the punishment they have received for disobeying their covenant with God. God told them out of the law all the bad things that would take place if they did not obey Him. They only have themselves to blame. They need to get right with God and He will solve their problems.

True.... but we Christians have also made the same error.........

There are many statements by Messiah Yeshua - Jesus that we don't apply very well even after
decades of trying...... and praying for more of the Holy Spirit.

I am listening to a sermon by Pastor Rodney Howard Brown right now.... it is at this link:

Revival Ministries International and Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne

I signed up for Mondays at 11 am.... and as I listened to this sermon I was reminded of Ezekiel chapter 47 about the massive RIVER that flows from the rebuilt Jerusalem Third Temple, which I believe will be in the middle of the Ezekiel chapter 40 - 48 Millennial Jerusalem Temple complex.

The Revelation 21 Temple may not come down until around the year 3030.... exactly three metaphorical days and nights from the death burial and resurrection of Messiah.

So then you feel that Ezekiel chapter 47...will never literally come to pass but is only some sort of
metaphor?

I admit that it is a metaphor.... but the valid spiritual understanding of that chapter in now way rules out a literal fulfillment as well.........

I admit I have read Ezekiel 47, but I have not spent a lot of time studying it. Eschatology is not a strong area of study for me. It is my understanding (and I know I could easily be wrong) that the Jews may rebuild (physically) the Temple and re-institute animal sacrifice, but to do so would be a blasphemy of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. And thus I don't see how Christians are commanded to assist or support the re-building of the Temple as a mean to re-institute animals sacrifices for atonement of sin.

Jesus said, "It is finished.", indicating the debt is paid in full, no other sacrifice is required, and is actually offensive to God, because it says that Jesus' sacrifice was not sufficient.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Christians of the world are so delusional. They choose and pick and come up with some doctrine that makes them happy.

The Jews likely don't think their blind but likely believe the Christians of the world are very deceived. How can you understand spiritual blindness? Having their eyes darkened as Paul said in Ephesians:

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

How would anybody know what this means if their understanding is darkened?

So the world goes each one in their own delusion, but they are removed from the understanding of the Truth:

Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

What are the riches of Glory? It is God's goodness. It is the riches of the Land. Grain, wine, and oil are mentioned in the bible as God's goodness:

Jer 31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

Paul told the Gentiles in Romans that if they did not continue in God's goodness, that they would be cut off:

Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off

Now, I or anybody would know if these things were cut off, right? Surely not in my generation, for let's face it; if anything could make it through the dark ages, it would survive the present age. What certainty do we have of that?

But the prophet Joel does witness the event:

Joe 1:9 The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn.
Joe 1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.

Interesting that He says that the grain and wine offerings are cut off, and these offerings accompany the Daily Sacrifice, for which Daniel said that the TRUTH would be cast down.

Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The Spirit of Truth operates according to The Word, and it is by the grace of God that man was given the understanding to see and hear His goodness.

And how are we so sure there has not been a cutting off after Christ? How would we know?

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

If Paul warned there would be a cutting off, was this an idol threat and this prediction a false one:

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

God will bring the delusion to an end:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Thirty years ago, I began to understand that the Laws of God are Spiritual and to understand the Abomination of Desolation. No one can begin to understand God's Word without the Spirit of Truth guiding them through the Law and the Prophets. Christ did not come to destroy the law but rather to fulfill. The Spirit knows the pathways of God: Mercy,Truth, and Peace.

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

MY point is simple: The Christians and Jews of this world do not see this; Is everybody right or is the world utterly deceived, and cut off from the light, and God's Goodness.

God bless you my friend:

I was introduced to this topic back in the 1970's by Evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong.

I didn't start to question it seriously again until the '90's and especially after the year 2000 and I admit..... I flipped flopped back and forth for a while because........ yes..... that Abomination that Makes Desolate...... is scary!

But in the year 40 C.E. when a Messianic Jew would be talking to a Rabbinic Jewish family member..... and they would read Isaiah 52 or 53.... many Rabbinic Jews would probably argue..... that those verses were some sort of metaphor.

Ezekiel chapter 47 does have a valid metaphorical meaning..... .the Holy Spirit must be poured out like a River through all Christians........ but the time when this will happen in such a big way that the nature of animals is positively altered...........
and the curses placed on Adam and Eve completely swallowed up by the Sacrifice of Messiah.......
will probably happen at the same time that there is some sort of literal river flowing from the literal Jerusalem Temple Mount.

At this time in my life I believe I have a duty to assist as best as I can to make this happen......
because the Jerusalem Third Temple sure seems to precede..... the utopian world where
nothing will hurt or destroy.

Ezekiel 47:1 (KJV)

Eze 47:1

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

....

Eze 47:3

And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

Eze 47:4

Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

Eze 47:5

Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

......
Eze 47:8

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

Levites from the time of Messiah Yeshua = Jesus until the time of the Bar Kochba Revolt.......who believed that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus was the Messiah..... did not consider it blasphemy to also perform their functions in the Temple.... or in the synagogue.

I believe that after the Bar Kochba Revolt Rabbinic Judaism became so divided from the Messianic Jewish movement that each of our differences became magnified and magnified again.

Act 21:20

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
