Really? Matthew 5:17 You think it is one or the other, yet it was said that faith without works is dead. Do you murder? if not, why? Yeshua said to love God and your neighbor...on these lay ALL the Law and the Prophets. How do we do this?

Perhaps I should have been more clear I am referring to the ridiculousness of not eating bacon

Apparently not. His statements don't matter.

Quote: "Don't matter. The Law is gone, grace is in"

Christ never tried to say this or that is unclean, He did say the law was expressed in two things Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself on these two hang all the law and prophets. It is not what we eat but what is in our hearts. One can keep the law like some here and be bad ain't going to help and one can be good and keep the law and that still won't help, only what's in one's heart matters.

Ridiculousness?

Isaiah 66:17 - They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

"saith the LORD". He considers swine's flesh consumption on the same tier as an abomination. So, good luck explaining to Him how it's just "ridiculousness". Note that He's talking about judgement day there. Most other places He mentions judgement in the OT, are instantaneous. He says that they be put to death, but hardly ever mentions about the actual judgement day.

Can the Father lie? Does His word change? To say that the eaters of swine's flesh won't be consumed, is saying that either YHWH lies, changes, or that the prophets, can't actually be prophetic. Your flesh is bending the word to appease your stomach.

Matthew 5:17-18

17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

In verse 18, he says, that not one jot or tittle shall pass until heaven and earth pass. Meaning, until this world is passed away, the law is not done away with. Are you still breathing?

He didn't do away with it, and he did fulfill it. He never broke one jot or tittle, he kept it all, so all could be fulfilled by him returning and giving judgement to the world. THEN the world will pass away.

Quite exceedingly. Those are for the house of Israel not for the Christian. I reject all your silliness now be off with you

Matthew 15:24 -
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

You're not rejecting my silliness. You're rejecting the truth of Yeshua. Either you're part of the lost sheep of the house of Israel, or your shepherd isn't Yeshua. It's that simple. There is no salvation mentioned for the gentiles. Aside from those gentiles grafted into the olive tree of Israel. Of which Jesus is the root. Some of the old branches were grafted out, so that we may be grafted in, but together we are still Israel. He says right there, that he ONLY came for the lost sheep of Israel.

Amos 9:9

We're sifted amongst the gentiles, and are called to one day realize our identity.

Can you get into heaven with JUST faith in Jesus? Probably, but realize that He says this about those people

Matthew 5:19 -
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So yeah, you MIGHT get in, but it's obviously not the way He wants things done. Especially considering, he says "depart from me you who work lawlessness".

What He was expressing, is that all the laws have one of two purposes:

1. Loving God
2. Loving others

The law explains specific ways in which we are commanded to love our neighbor, and love God. Not eating pork is a way in which we love God (Leviticus 11:8), while putting a railing around the balcony of our house is a way in which we love our brother (Deuteronomy 22:8).

Most christians seem to think that loving God consists of having fuzzy feelings for Him. Which is just a delusion that has no basis in scripture. We love God by keeping His commands.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Quite exceedingly. Those are for the house of Israel not for the Christian. I reject all your silliness now be off with you

There is no covenant apart from Israel.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith YHVH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

As a gentile, you are given the opportunity to be grafted into Israel. At which time, you are subject to the commands given to Israel by the vine (the Messiah).

According to God, that covenant will not be given to gentiles, it will only be given to Israel.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith YHVH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
So you don't seem to be setting yourself up for success.

No matter how you twist verses the Law that leads to death is not for Christians

and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

The only people that were not his people, were gentiles. Not sure what you mean by twisting the scripture, but alright. If you desire the tradition of man, as opposed to the truth of יהוה, that's up to you, we've shown you several scriptures that plainly state the opposite.

There were His chosen people, and there were gentiles. There were only two types of people. Israel, and gentiles. So, "them which were not my people,'' can only be referring to gentiles.

Twist verses? I've supported everything I've said with scripture, while you've done nothing but make opinionated statements that lack scriptural substantiation. Like the one quoted above.

Perhaps you would enlighten those reading as to how I twisted "this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel" into meaning that God will make His new covenant with Israel. After which, you can reveal the verse's true meaning.

Actually I am done with your Pharisaical and wicked teachings, both of you. Keep the old law I have no interest in anyone trying to bind the soul of a Christian. Your both on ignore from here on out

There's nothing Pharisaical about the scripture. We're' not teaching you to get circumcised for salvation, nor are we telling you to keep the law for salvation. Nor are we insinuating anything that would bind your soul. We're saying, that keeping the law, should be something that you desire to do, because you're saved. I even outright said a few replies ago, that it would probably be possible to enter heaven not having kept the law, but based on scripture, even if you did, you wouldn't be anyone of substantial wealth, considering He calls those that do this, "least" in the kingdom of heaven.
