Prayer vigil being organized for President Trump.....

LORD, bless President Trump and grant him the wise council of your Holy Spirit whom You promised you would leave with all Your people. Thank you LORD, for your Holy Word that guides us, and for the many blessings we have as a nation. O faithful God, bless our nation and all our political leaders; be the rock on whom they can find refuge. Grant blessings of love and discernment, especially to our President, who bears the enormous burden of making moment-by-moment decisions, that could ultimately affect the lives millions of U.S. citizens, and indeed many hundreds of millions of people around the globe.

LORD, surround President Trump with competent advisors and staff who believe in and follow Jesus; who look to God for guidance and wisdom in executing the duties of their office. Bless them with Your wisdom and make them competent advisors. Bless President Trump and his family, staff and advisors, and bless his Vice-President, Mike Pence, and his family, and their staffs; again, surrounding them with competent staff who believe in and follow Jesus Christ; who look to God in all matters in their lives. God bless this nation, God bless our leaders. O LORD, you know all their needs before they know their needs. Bless them.

LORD, bless the other members here, on this forum who are dedicating themselves, in prayer, over our President, seeking Your blessings, for his safety and confident tenure in office. Bless those who are opposing these reported shenanigans, that are being cooked up, in an effort to tinker with the nation's financial stability by manipulating vast resources. Bless the political leaders who oppose such wickedness and give them keen insight into how to thwart such wrongdoing.

Almighty God, bless the patriots and believers on this forum and elsewhere, who seek Your mighty hand and shadow, to shield our nation and President Trump, from those who would mean us harm. In God's name we come to you in prayer that it is Your will, not ours, be done, forever and always. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Exo 17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
Exo 17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
Exo 17:12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

I am reminded of Moses holding up his staff as he interceded for the Israelites while they waged war. As long as the staff remained raised the Israelites prevailed. What a perfect type for our current situation. Consistent and directed prayer. Just as Moses had help to continue his intercession unto victory, so to do we.

I would like to make an exegetical comment on that portion of the passage that says, "But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun."

Notice that we can draw a parallel between the stone supporting Moses, and Jesus Christ (The cornerstone and the Rock of our salvation), who upholds us as we intercede. Notice that Moses's physical strength gave out while his will and faith remained intact. Likewise, If any of you should feel like your strength is faltering or you feel overwhelmed and too tired to go on, then know that the Rock that is higher than ourselves (Psalms 61:2) is there to bear us up. And just as Moses had helping companions in his strenuous and often painful service to God, so to has God provided companions for us to encourage us in our service as we intercede for the people of God, Trump, and the nations.

Oh God, i pray in unison with all who are crying out to you here, on behalf of our President and our country, and in unison with all those crying out the world over on our behalf. We are in dire dire straits, and so is our country and our President. As we see all that is crumbling all around us and with less and less restraint and such a frenzy of unbridled vitriol and wanton violence and destruction, we can only cry out to You, our VERY PRESENT HELP, in our time of trouble. And trouble it is, a tsunami of trouble. YOU are our very present HELP. Oh help us as only YOU can at this very dire dire time, in Jesus name, amen. (((hug)))

Waging War in Prayer

This was inspired by the movie the “War Room”.

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the Lord, servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever . Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18

“Waging War in Prayer”

Finding yourself in battle, feeling like you’ll be overthrown

Call on Jesus to protect you as he reigns from his heavenly throne.

Fight for your marriage in heavenly realms, angels with orders to guide

Wrap your arms around your spouse, knowing you’ve nothing to hide.

Surrounding your children and grandchildren with love prayers from above,

Rest in the sweet assurance , God will protect them with His love.

Raise your pastor and your church to the heights of realms unknown,

Believing God’s anointing will always in them be shown.

Fill our hearts with music and praise for the mighty things you have done.

Let our lives reflect the freedom you have given and fill our lives with fun.

Let that song in our hearts shine forth from our face with unexplainable joy.

As Christ goes before us on crooked paths he’s straightened for us to enjoy.

Let us raise our voices in urgency for the souls of those we love,

May those cries for mercy surround the throne on the wings of lovely white doves.

For the lives of the generations coming, raise up an army of God

For it’s only through you victory defeats evil as we call on the angel squad.

Raise them up, oh, God I pray, all over the world, raise them up.

For our only hope of a Victorious life, is for YOU to raise it up.

Pleading for our husbands, wives, and our children for Victory to claim,

With our hands raised in praise, We ask all these things in Jesus’ precious name.

Though this string was posted over a month ago, I still keep getting little supportive "like" etc. icons from readers who saw my personal response , and see many others have gotten lots of such icons on this string, too. Thank you so much for this post and your prayers. It is so heartening to see so many people are praying. "Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world."
