Goodness of God
(Of how He relate to Israel)
Romans 11:22
2 command impression of God:
1.He is strict
2.He is a Santa clause that always seek to bless
The Holy Spirit will give us the grace to know who God is.
Romans 11:22
So if you look at this verse, Paul is talking Israel to concern and pay attention to the goodness and severity of God. The context is based on Israel not believing in Jesus and the gentiles coming in. Paul imply that if we do not know or understand the goodness and severity if God, we will be cut off.
Paul says that the root of the Olive tree is Israel.
2 thess 2:3
Many fall away because people don't know God.
Ask God to show you more of His goodness and severity of judgement. Both goodness and severity is attribute of God.

God says He allow His goodness to pass Moses
Exodus 34:6-7
You cannot separate God goodness with His severity. Goodness and severity is one, He judges sin. All three person in trinity have this two attributes too.

Isaiah 63
Jesus as red garment. Is God good? Is He severe? He is both. We need to ask God for this revelation. Ask Him to renew our mind with what His goodness is. When things happen in our lives, is God good?
