Okay, according to the Scripture, the work of rebuilding the Temple after the return from Babylon began on Elul 24. (Haggai 1:14-15)
Also, the priests began offering sacrifices on Tishri 1 even though the foundation of the Temple had not been laid (Ezra 3:6)
This year Elu 24 starts Thursday night, September 14.
Tishri 1 starts on Wednesday night, September 20.
This is the Jubilee of the liberations of Jerusalem in 5727, June 1967.
It is possibly significant that as 5777 is winding down, 1300 Jews were able to ascend the Temple Mount and prayed there. Among those were Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute and Boaz Michael of First Fruits of Zion. Judah and Benjamin so to speak.
