The garden of Eden and the rivers are allegories.

God quickens us in Christ. He makes us alive who were dead in trespasses and sin where in times past we walked according to the course of this world. We were once of the common “ground” of mankind…that is, the red ground or the Adamah…where we in times past were a part of this world fulfilling the lusts of our flesh, the desires of the flesh and of the mind being children of wrath just like the rest of the world.

Ephesians 2:1-6 KJV
(1) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
(2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
(3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

(4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
(5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
(6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

But we are washed from our sins…from the works of the flesh (taken from the Adamah) and the Lord gives us His Spirit in the Lord Jesus... the second Man who is from heaven. The “ground” = adamah.

Genesis 2:7-8 KJV
(7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We were washed from the works of the flesh and now we are to work and keep His commandments (the “garden”)….delighting (the meaning of “Eden” = delight) in them that are planted with us to keep. We are to rejoice in the Lord and keep His commandments and He shall delight in us.

(8) And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

This the whole duty of “man” (Hebrew: ADAM)…. to fear God and keep His commandments.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV
(13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

The whole duty of man is to work ("dress") and keep the “garden” of Eden….delighting in His commandments. Of every tree of the garden we are to freely eat.

Genesis 2:15-16 KJV
(15) And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Of every tree of the garden we may freely eat: There is no law against the fruit of the Spirit….love, peace, joy, gentleness, etc. We have been washed from the works of the flesh (the adamah) in the blood of Jesus (the last Adam who is from heaven). “Adam” = “red”….and signifies being washed from the red ground in the blood of Jesus.

Galatians 5:18-26 KJV
(18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
(19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
(21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

God gives us the will to do His commandments ...to do His good pleasure (Eden)... through His Spirit (a river went out of Eden to water the garden = His Spirit giving us the will to do His commandments).

Philippians 2:12-13 KJV
(12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
(13) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure
.

The fleshly mind (the "adamah"....the red ground) is not subject to the law of God nor can it be. There is no delight in the fleshly mind to do the good will of God. The fleshly mind is hostility towards God and cannot please Him. The carnal mind is outside of the garden of Eden because it does not ….it can not ….keep and delight in working God’s commandments as the Spirit of God does not dwell in them.

Romans 8:5-9 KJV
(5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
(8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

If any man has not the Spirit of Christ, then he is not of Him.

(9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

But only those who live according to the Spirit (that dwells in them) can please God.

From the garden the river (the Spirit) was parted and became into four heads. The Spirit will go out into all of the world through us as living waters shall flow from our hearts.

Genesis 2:10-12 KJV
(10) And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

The name of the first is “Pison” which means “dispersive” or to “spread”. It compasses the whole land of “Havilah” which means “circular” . This is the preaching of the gospel…the good Word of God….by the Spirit. We are to spread the gospel to the “circle” of the earth…all of the world…all 4 corners. Havilah = the circle of this earth.

(11) The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
(12) And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

When we do His will, we can then be useful to preach the good news to this world.

The first “river” is to spread (Pison = dispersive) the gospel (preach the good news) into ALL of the world…all 4 corners of this earth. We have the "great commission" in the first of the rivers.

The “gold” that is found there is the tried and tested FAITH. He that BELIEVES (the gold that is good) and is “baptized”…that is, be found putting on Christ at the hearing of the Spirit…shall be saved (healed). Believing is active. Faith without good works towards what we hear the Spirit saying is dead. Go into ALL the world...the circle of the earth...Havilah.

Mark 16:15-16 KJV
(15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

There is “bdellium”….which means “something in pieces” and refers to the sacrifices of those who will hear and believe what they hear the Spirit saying. They shall be found of a broken spirit…a broken and contrite spirit (breath) towards the hearing of the Spirit of God.

Psalms 51:15-19 KJV
(15) O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
(16) For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
(17) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

God shall build the believers into a house…as we are to be a spiritual house….

(18) Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
(19) Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar

The believers will be found walking in love….keeping the sacrifice of our Lord….the sweet savor of Christ....bdellium.

Ephesians 5:1-2 KJV
(1) Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
(2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

We keep His sacrifice (His body was broken for us...bdellium) by walking in love with one another. We are to hear what the Spirit from heaven is saying and give thanks and be found of a "broken" spirit ...keeping the sacrifice of our Lord.

Luke 22:19 KJV
(19) And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

The “onyx” stone...Christ is the foundation and we are to be living stones built by the Lord into a spiritual house whose foundation is Jesus Christ. We are to be laborers together with God in the building of the spiritual house.

1 Corinthians 3:9-11 KJV
(9) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
(10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
(11) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Except the Lord build the house, men labor in vain that build it. The churches of fleshly men are built in vain as they do these things in their envy and strife and covetousness…preaching the doctrines and commandments of fleshly-minded men.

Psalms 127:1 KJV
(1) A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

We shall raise the foundations of many generations and be called “the repairer of the breach”….

Isaiah 58:12 KJV
(12) And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

The second river is “Gihon” which means to “break forth”. The land of “Ethiopia” or Cush is this dark world as it signifies darkness.

Genesis 2:13 KJV
(13) And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

Our light shall “break forth” as the morning. Our health shall spring forth speedily.

Isaiah 58:
(8) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
(9) Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

This light shall break forth in the darkness of this world as others shall see the life of Jesus being made manifest in our mortal flesh.

(10) And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

The light shall break forth (Gihon = break forth) in this dark world and they shall see His glory upon us.

Isaiah 60:1-4 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
(4) Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

We shall shine as lights in the world as we hold for the Word of life….

Philippians 2:14-18 KJV
(14) Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
(15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
(16) Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
(17) Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
(18) For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with
me.

To be continued…

We have a hint in the testimony of Jesus that the “rivers” are not literal but are of the Spirit that shall flow out of the hearts of those who will hear what the Spirit is saying and will believe. The Lord comes to give us an understanding as He opens up the Scriptures to our minds….if any man thirst, let him come unto Him and drink in what He is saying.

John 7:37-39 KJV
(37) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
(38) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

We must be found glorifying Him when He does come to speak His living words in the Spirit of Truth to our hearing ears. We must be found of Him doing His commandments (to have love for one another). The Son of man comes at an hour we are not expecting and we are to be found of Him doing His commandments…glorifying Him.

(39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The name of the second river is “Gihon”….meaning to “burst forth” and is the same that will compass …to revolve…the whole land (earth) of Ethiopia which signifies darkness. It is the Light that will shine in the darkness of this world. The believers shall shine as lights in this dark world.

Genesis 2:13 KJV
(13) And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

We are to be a light of the nations (gentiles). We are to be for salvation unto the ends of the earth as the Word of the Lord gets carried throughout all the “region”. We are to be built up as a spiritual house…a royal priesthood… and the world shall see His Word of life in us and will offer up spiritual sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving.

Acts 13:47-49 KJV
(47) For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
(48) And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
(49) And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

The Word of the Lord gets spread or dispersed (“Pison” = “dispersive” or to “spread”) compassing…revolving…the whole land (earth) of “Havilah” which means “circular” and refers to the circle of the earth…the whole world. We who hear and believe are to be built into a spiritual house by the Lord .

Genesis 2:11-12 KJV
(11) The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
(12) And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone
.

We hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches (as we are "called out" of darkness and into His marvelous Light) and overcome so that we may eat of the hidden knowledge of our Lord. He will give us a white stone and in the stone a new name written. We shall help our Lord build His spiritual house of which we are living stones.

Revelation 2:17 KJV
(17) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Our "waters" shall not "fail"...in Hebrew: to deceive. The "waters" shall be the words of the Spirit of Truth that we shall speak...a spring of living water.

Isaiah 58:11-12 KJV
(11) And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

We shall be called "the repairer of the breach" as we assist our Lord in the building of His spiritual house as we speak His living words to others.

(12) And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

“Galilee” means “circle” of the nations. The power of the Spirit goes into the “circle” of the earth and the fame (literally “saying”) of Jesus goes through all of the region round about. We hold forth the Word of life in this dark and dying world and shall shine as lights in it.

Luke 4:14-15 KJV
(14) And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
(15) And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

The light of the knowledge of the glory of God starts by shining (breaking forth as the dawn morning light) out of the darkness of our own hearts when we hear the Spirit speaking to us as men are moved by the Spirit to speak His living words of eternal life to our hearing ears. The Light shines from the heart to the outward mortal body.

You won’t get this dawning of the Light from those who are only preaching themselves in their own authority for money’s sake. Those who preach only themselves preach the word of men as they wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction.

2 Corinthians 4:5-6 KJV
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The Light does not shine in those who are handling the Word of God deceitfully in order to get gain nor is it shining in the hearts of those who are listening to the false prophets as they preach things in the wisdom of men and who are minding the earthly things.

2 Corinthians 4:2-4 KJV
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Those who will hear what the Spirit is saying will receive the Word of God as it is spoken in the truth and not as the word of men who speak it without the river of the Spirit….and without the truth. The Word of God spoken in truth effectually works within us that believe. It comes with power.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV
(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

There is a big difference between the preaching of fleshly-minded men (the word of men) and those who preach the Word of God as breathed by Him in the Spirit. All scripture that is God –breathed (spoken by the Spirit of truth) is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness.

What fleshly-minded men are preaching is not spoken with the Spirit of Truth and is not profitable to hear them as they have no understanding of the Scriptures.

2 Timothy 3:14-17 KJV
(14) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
(15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
(16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
(17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The hearing of man’s wisdom.... who preaches the Scriptures without understanding... does not do anything to those who listen to them. But the preaching of one who speaks with the Spirit comes with the demonstration of the power of God within them of which we are to take heed to.

1 Corinthians 2:4-5 KJV
(4) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
(5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Men who preach themselves as they are only minding the earthly things (worried about getting paid to preach in order to get their earthly needs met) have no understanding of the Scriptures as they preach their own “private interpretation” of them.

**There is no “morning star”* within our hearts when we hear the word of men spoken in their own understanding without the Spirit**.

But, we have a more sure word of prophecy: the Light shall shine within our very own hearts as the morning star * (the “day star”) arises there when we hear His true Voice speaking to us in the Spirit.

Men of God speak as they are moved by the Holy Spirit and the Light shines out of the darkness within our very own hearts. We know it is really His voice we are hearing and not the voice of a stranger who speaks words of men in the understanding of earthly men.

2 Peter 1:19-21 KJV
(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
(21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The *“morning star” *of our hearts shall break forth as the dawn and is the “sign of the Son of man” who is in heaven speaking to our hearing ears. We shall know it is Him when we see the “sign” within our very own hearts…..a more sure word of prophecy…as we hear His interpretation of the Scriptures in the Spirit of truth. We who hear His voice shall REJOICE when these things happen.

But those who are minding the earthly things (the tribes of the earth speak earthly things and mind earthly things) will mourn what they hear. The tribes of the earth will only see the Son of man coming in the clouds of people (who are minding the heavenly things above: love, peace, joy, etc) who will hear His voice and believe and rejoice in what they hear.

Matthew 24:30-31 KJV
(30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

He will come with the great sound of the trumpet of the Spirit to awake us up and gather the believers from every wind of doctrine (the 4 winds) that men are preaching deceptively to lead us astray. We shall be gathered to Him in Truth as we hear the Word of God spoken in truth and not as the word of men. We shall rejoice and those who are minding earthly things shall mourn at what they see happening as there will be "clouds" of believers departing from their churches.

(31) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Light shall shine within our very own hearts when we hear the Word of God (“And God said...”) and we are to be found of Him responding to the Light with light ("...AND THERE WAS LIGHT"...as we respond to the Light with light).

We are to become children of light as we have the Light shining within our very own hearts. We are to be children of the Day and not of the Night…for those of the darkness will hear and not understand as they will speak evil of what they hear.

Genesis 1:3-5 KJV
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
(4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

While we have the Light shining within our very own hearts (let there be Light) when we hear His voice, we are to believe in the Light so that we may be children of light (and there was light). We are to respond to that Light with light….with righteousness…and not in evil unbelief.

John 12:
(35) Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
(36) While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light
. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
(37) But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

Those who will stubbornly continue to resist the Spirit in their unbelief of what they hear the Spirit saying shall find themselves not being able to believe eventually as the judgment of God shall blind the eyes of their understanding and will harden their hearts so that that they cannot understand.... "therefore they COULD NOT believe".

(38) That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
(39) Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
(40) He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

We are to take heed on how we hear the Spirit. Those who will respond with righteousness shall be given more while those who will do not DO His commandments will have what they heard taken from them as God shall blind the eyes of their understanding and harden their hearts as they will be found not DOING the Word of God.

Luke 8:
(18) Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Those who can’t come to Him are not able to because of the “press”…the multitude of evil words that will come out of their mouths at the hearing of His voice. Those who will not be found DOING His Word (the Saying: to have love for one another) shall not see Him. Only those who HEAR the Word and DO it shall be able to come and learn from Him.

(19) Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
(20) And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

(21) And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Those who are of the Day shall come to Him in the “temple” to hear Him as they will keep His sacrifice in their lives at the hearing of His voice. They will come “early in the morning” as the Light dawns within their very own hearts.

Luke 21:37-38 KJV
(37) And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
(38) And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

We are to lay aside all malice and guile, evil speakings, etc…..and desire the SINCERE milk of the Word so that we may grow in His knowledge.

1 Peter 2:1-9 KJV
(1) Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
(2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

(3) If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(4) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

We are to be built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

(5) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
(6) Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Unto us who believe Him, He is precious….a precious stone….the onyx stone from the beginning by which we, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house.

(7) Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

But to the unbelievers, He is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence as they stumble at the Word (the Saying: to have love for one another) being disobedient. They will not hear what the Spirit of Truth is saying to their ears and will stumble at it...to their own loss.

(8) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

But those who believe shall be a royal priesthood so that we should show forth the praises of Him that has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

We are to keep His “daily” sacrifice in our bodies (always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus) so that His eternal life shall be made MANIFEST (meaning TO SHINE) in our outer mortal flesh. The light shines from within our hearts and eventually outward to our exterior mortal flesh so that the unbelieving world may see the Light.

2 Corinthians 4:10-11 KJV
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

We are to be the ones who first HEAR the Word of Truth, the good news of our salvation and are sealed with that Holy Spirit of the promise of eternal life in our mortal flesh. We hear His voice and believe WITHOUT seeing His appearing life yet.

The world will believe when they see His life appearing in our outer mortal flesh and will praise God in heaven when they see. We are to be a royal priesthood in which the believers in this world (who will see Him and believe) shall offer up acceptable sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving unto God.

We are to be to the praise of His glory in this world as the world shall hear and see something tangible (His appearing eternal life in our mortal flesh) and will praise Him. In doing so, we participate in gathering together in one ALL things in Christ both which are in Heaven and which are on Earth.

Ephesians 1:10-14 KJV
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The world will be like Thomas who did not believe without seeing Him. We believe Him without seeing Him yet. We are with Him when He comes and hear and believe His voice unto the revelation of the life of Jesus in our outer mortal flesh. They will see the effect of our keeping His sacrifice in our lives (the print of the nails)....the appearing life of Jesus in our mortal flesh.

John 20:24-29 KJV
(24) But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
(25) The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
(26) And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
(27) Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

The outside world shall offer up the sacrifices of God...by praising Him.

(28) And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Blessed are those who believe and have not seen…yet. They will first trust in Him when they hear His voice speaking the Word of Truth …the good news of their salvation as the life of Jesus shall shine in their mortal flesh in due time. They believe without seeing this yet and the world shall see and believe and praise God in heaven.

(29) Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

We are to be the first fruits…those who hear and believe (as we hear His voice and believe in what we hear) without seeing His appearing life in our mortal flesh…yet. When He does appear in the mortal flesh of those first believers, then those of the world shall see and believe (afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming).

1 Corinthians 15:23-24 KJV
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
(24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power

Again, the second river is “Gihon” which means “break forth”…as the life of Jesus (the Light) shall break forth in the darkness (Ethiopia signifies the darkness) of this world and the world shall see the glory of God revealed through us who first trusted in Christ without seeing Him yet.

Genesis 2:
(13) And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

The life of Jesus shall be made manifest (that is, to SHINE) in our mortal flesh for others in this world to see and glorify God when we keep the daily sacrifice of our Lord Jesus…ALWAYS bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus. It is the power of God that is displayed in our earthen vessels for this world to see.

2 Corinthians 4:7-11 KJV
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

The Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of God that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also enliven our mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in us.

Romans 8:10-11 KJV
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

We shall live (in this earthen vessel) with the eternal life of Jesus in this earth if through the Spirit we do kill the deeds of the body. The sons of God shall be made manifest to this dark and dying world as they are led by the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:13-15 KJV
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The whole creation is awaiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. His glory shall be revealed in us and this dark world shall see what it truly means to DO God’s will as it means having His everlasting life in this world.

Romans 8:18-30 KJV
(18) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
(19) For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
(20) For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
(21) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

(22) For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

We are Christ the first fruits as we hear and believe in the good news of our salvation….the appearing life of Jesus in our mortal flesh in this earth. We are awaiting the redemption of our mortal body.

(23) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

We, the first fruits, believe without seeing Him YET. We are saved by hope in this.

(24) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

We hope for that which we do not see yet and have patience for it as we await the appearing eternal life of Jesus to be made manifest (shine) in our mortal body.

(25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
(26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
(27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
(28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
(29) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
(30) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

For yet a little while, He that IS COMING (continuous present tense) will arrive and will not tarry…as the promised life of Jesus shall appear in our outer mortal flesh as an open witness that Jesus is indeed ALIVE NOW forevermore as we are made alive now in this earth. The world shall see that Jesus is ALIVE NOW…RISEN NOW… as we are set to display His appearing life in this earth for others to see and glorify Him.

Hebrews 10:35-37 KJV
(35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
(37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry
.

He shall gather together in one all things in Christ…and we have an inheritance in doing this.

Ephesians 1:9-14 KJV
(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

We are to be to the praise of His glory (among the nations of this world) who first trusted in Christ. We the “first fruits” believe without seeing Him yet as we hear the word of Truth…the good news of our salvation…and are sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise. Our mortal body shall be redeemed in this earth unto the praise of His glory as the nations of the world shall see His Light appear in us.

“Baruch” means “praise”…as the world shall praise God as they will see His appearing life in our earthen vessels. We are to be to the praise of His glory.

Jeremiah 32:13-15 KJV
(13) And I charged Baruch before them, saying,

We are His redeemed purchased possession. That which is sealed is the Holy Spirit that we are sealed with until the redemption of our mortal body as the life of Jesus shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh (the evidence which is OPEN).

We are to have His everlasting, heavenly life in this earthen vessel so that we may CONTINUE MANY DAYS (have eternal life) and the world shall see and praise (Baruch) God in heaven. We are to be to the praise of His glory as they shall see His life appear in us and will praise Him.

(14) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
(15) For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

The glory of the LORD shall come and arise upon us. Our light shall come as the life of Jesus is made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Isaiah 60:1-12 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

And the people of this dark world shall see His glory upon us and they shall come to the Light.

(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising

We are to make the Word flesh by doing His will (to have love for one another) so that this dark world may behold His glory.

John 1:14 KJV
(14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

We are the “first fruits” of Christ as we hear and believe in this good news of our salvation WITHOUT seeing Him yet….without seeing the life of Jesus made manifest in our mortal flesh. But He that IS COMING in our mortal flesh shall not delay but shall arrive to our joy.

1 Corinthians 15:21-24 KJV
(21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

We believe without seeing Him yet (the first fruits) and the world shall believe when He comes in our mortal flesh as the world shall see His Light breaking forth from us and will come to the Light and worship Him. All of the kingdoms of this world shall then become His.

(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
(24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

We, the first fruits, shall be built up into a spiritual house by our God so that the world may see and come to the Light that breaks forth in the darkness of this world and worship Him whose glory is revealed through us as the life of Jesus shines in our mortal flesh.

We are to be His spiritual house of prayer for all people as the nations shall approach us and see His appearing glory and they will praise God in heaven . His spiritual house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations as they come to the “house” (we are to be His house) and will praise Him. There will be JOY in His house of prayer.

Isaiah 56:7-8 KJV
(7) Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Every man shall be made alive in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming….those of the world that shall see His appearing Light in us.

(8) The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

We will not die but shall have His everlasting life…and the world shall flow towards that breaking forth of His Light and will worship God. Our light shall break forth as the morning as the glory of the LORD is revealed in us.

Isaiah 58:8 KJV
(8) Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

The name of the third river is “Hiddekel” ….which means “rapid”…as the nations of this world shall flow towards the Light of His appearing life in us.

“Assyria” or “Asshur” means “level, plain, happy, blessed” and has a strong connotation of joy or rejoicing that will be experienced as the nations of this world shall flow to us as the Light is made manifest. Righteousness shall bloom in this earth.

Genesis 2:
(14) And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

The mountain of the LORD’s house (we are His spiritual house that shall be built up) shall be established in the top of the mountains….very prominent among the nations of this dark world. The nations shall FLOW unto it….the third river Hiddekel…and will rejoice (Asshur) in the Light.

Isaiah 2:1-5 KJV
(1) The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
(2) And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
(3) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
(4) And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
(5) O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

The nations of this world shall come to the Light.

Isaiah 60:1-22 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
(4) Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

And our hearts shall rejoice….

(5) Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

…as the nations shall bring forth the praises of the LORD as He glorifies the house of His glory.

(6) The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
(7) All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

The nations will come swiftly….the rapidness of the river…..as they fly as a cloud of people towards the Light.

(8) Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
(9) Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
(10) And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
(11) Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

If they do not come, that nation and kingdom shall perish. Those nations shall be utterly wasted.

(12) For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
(13) The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
(14) The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

We shall be a JOY of many generations in Christ Jesus whose life (Light) shall be revealed through us to the eyes of this darkened world. We were once hated by the world but we shall be a joy of many generations in this coming time.

(15) Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
(16) Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
(17) For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
(18) Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
(19) The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
(20) Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
(21) Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch
of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
(22) A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

The Hiddekel flows in the front of Asshur….joy…as the nations shall flow towards the Light and will rejoice with us.

Isaiah 66:10-14 KJV
(10) Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
(11) That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

The nations of this world shall be like a flowing stream as they rapidly come to us as they see the appearing life of Jesus made manifest in us. They shall know that Jesus is indeed ALIVE NOW and forevermore as we are made alive with His life in this earth.

(12) For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
(13) As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
(14) And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Jesus IS ALIVE. He EXISTS. “Jesse” means “existant”…and it is Jesus who IS ALIVE in heaven…He exists…and we are to be His living, infallible proofs in this earth as we shall live with His eternal life in this dark world…the open evidence that Jesus is EXISTANT. To (the ensign of Jesus being alive through us) it shall the nations seek.

Isaiah 11:10 KJV
(10) And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

To be continued…
