Let us not become weary in doing good, at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up..(Galatians 6:9)... Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!!!!... Let me ask you a question, Have you ever felt like giving up? no really!! Have you ever felt like saying "FORGET THIS! I'M DONE!!!!?" be honest.... are you right now as we speak on the edge of saying " I give up!"?. Let me say this one thing "NEVER GIVE UP!!!". I say that because many of us quit, half way through what we started and we can def come up with a hand full of reasons why we do it. In this scripture Paul tells us "for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." What does it mean though? I'm glad you asked...The scripture is pretty much saying that if we don't give up we will see the reward. ok, let me give you this example. My grandma use to have a garden in her back yard. She sows her seed by taking the little seed and planting it in her properly ploughed garden ( I said properly ploughed because it the soil isn't right then the seed won't grow!!! the place you plant the seed has to be right!!!) anyway, she plants the seed but she doesn't see the grains immediately, she waits for the rain! yes, in order to see growth your gonna have to experience some rain!! and the sun shine at the proper times! yes, in order to see growth understand it's gonna get HOT from time to time... and after some time then she reaps her harvest, during harvest isn't what she sowed but several measures more than what she had sown (I really hope you understand). If this is true for my grandmother I'm sure the same principle applies for us too. The only thing is to wait until we see results. Giving up, throwing in the towel!! we are all guilty of wanting to do it, some have even done it and I can already tell you the reasons why... it can be fear of failure, you can be telling ya self I am not the one, i'm not smart or strong enough, someone can do it better than me. the list goes on and on....Solomon said "for an upright man, after falling seven times, will get up again". (Proverbs 24:16) We are gonna get scared sometimes, we are gonna fall sometimes, we are gonna feel like it's too hard sometimes but understand this, we have Jesus on our side we will surely be conquerors, not just conquerors but more than conquerors. God bless you. I hope you enjoyed your breakfast.....
