Gracious grits, eggs, holy home fries and sanctified sausage links ummm!!! let's eat...The Lord said to Moses, “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.”(Hebrews 13:1,2); They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.(Numbers 13 27,28); Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”(Numbers 13:30) Let the church say Amen! God has spoken so let the church say Amen!!!! I pray everyone had a blessed weekend, I wanted to start the week off with a delicious breakfast!!! I love this scripture!. I gave you 3 sets of scripture, first, God gave a command to go into the land he promised to give to his people. second, a group came back with their "PERCEPTION", and third, caleb who was also apart of the group that went to check out the land came back but he had a different "PERCEPTION"..you see I capitalized Perception because that's the focus, thats what i want everyone to get from this today..I have a question for you (HERE WE GO!!).. LOL.. what's your question shaheem? I'm glad you asked, How do you see yourself? How do you view yourself? Do you see yourself the way God sees you? I asked because how you view yourself will impact how you view your problems. let me give you a little bit of history real quick. Israel had repeatedly witnessed God’s power; why were they intimidated by the people in the land of canaan? i'll tell you why!! It’s a perception problem called low self-esteem, and it’s how the enemy prevents you from winning. The Israelites quickly forgot their Red Sea deliverance but instead remembered Egypt where they’d lived as salves. My brothers and sisters please be careful, hard times, struggle, storms all that can make you think you don’t deserve to be blessed!. Remember, anytime you have something of value, the enemy will attack you. You’re blessed because God proclaims it. This is just a side bar but it's so true, If you view yourself negatively you tend to gravitate toward people who talk down to you "That's so deep". God showed you your blessing! God has a promised land just waiting for you... it could be that promotion, that New house etc.. or more precious then that it's that peace you've been needing, or the ability to not be fearful, or that forgiving spirit that you desire but find it hard to receive. Understand that there are gonna be things in your way but how you perceive them will determine if you get through them. Do you see giants or do you see opportunity? do you see mountains or do you see opportunity? do you see storms or do you see opportunity? opportunity for what? glad you asked!! opportunity for God to show you his power!!!, opportunity for you to see the Holy Spirit work. caleb went into the same land as the others but he saw something different!!! why? because He knew that even though the people were big, His God was BIGGER!, even though your storm is strong, Our Lord is STRONGER!!, even though your mountain is Tall, Our Lord is TALLER!!!. So understand that when you see yourself as God sees you then you'll be able to see your situations differently, when you understand who you belong to, then you'll change your perception...
