Saw this on Steve Ray's board ( http://forums.catholic-convert.com/viewtopic.php?t=1382 ) and thought it was too funny to pass up posting here:

ANTICATBOT 2.0

Yes! It's finally here! Now you can have the best of everything! The personal infallibility of Sola Scriptura! The anonymity of the Internet! Power without accountability! All in a convenient bot that will free up your valuable time to disperse Jack Chick tracts.

Download this easy to use program, enter in the Catholic forum's address and watch as it automatically posts on the boards ad nauseum! A small but effective library of topics that automatically recycles ensures that the Catholic board members will be tied up answering the same questions hundreds of times! Just look at these great Topic sentences:

Proof of papal primacy??
Mariolatry
Infant baptism not biblical!
Jesus or religion?
Nun leaves church! Praise God!

And many more!

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!

AntiCatbot does not just post topics. It responds as well! Using state-of- the-art God-breathed Logic AI, the repsonses are guaranteed to keep the argument going round and round. Such as:

"Why shouldn't Maccabees be in the KJV?"
"Because it is not inspired."
"How do you know it's not inspired?"
"Because it's not in the KJV."

and so on!

And what's better, the responses are customizable! Set variables from Answer questions with a question, to completely ignore answers and post random Catholic caricature.

NEW FOR VERSION 2.0!

We are always improving and now feature the Customizable Personality Matrix. Set levels ranging from "deceptively amiable and inquisitive", to "contemptuously rhetorical", and all the way up to "overt hostility"! Our new Lawyer Mode detects potentially thoughtful responses longer than a paragraph and posts: "Is that a yes or a no?"

Being banned? No Problem! AntiCatbot detects this and automatically registers under a new username and IP. It also detects links to other Catholic boards, registers and posts the IDENTICAL QUESTIONS!

You will love our new Scripture Spammer as it selects and posts Bible passages at random regardless of context or appropriateness to the topic!

And don't forget our new Catholic-on-Catholic feature: AntiCatbot posts questions about Novus Ordo, traditionalism and SSPX. Turn it on and watch the fur fly!

GET YOURS TODAY!!!

LOL, thing is, that could really apply to many other types of discussions too. In fact, you've just given me the inspiration for a joke soon to be posted somewhere. It will be kind of based on this but about some debates I've been involved in. -^.^-

AntiCatBot v2.01 Patch Available Soon!

WE'VE HEARD YOUR DEMANDS! Our programmers are working 'round the clock on our anticipated patch 2.01!

LOOK FOR THESE UPCOMING FEATURES!

Select your favorite cult and watch as AntiCatbot posts inane babble about the Amorites, cryptic nonsense about white stones, and ugly racist theories about Cain's bloodline.

Is 144,000 too much of a throng? Our Heavenly Occupancy Reducer doesn't stop at such high numbers.

Used in conjuction with our Scripture Spammer AntiCatbot will demonstrate to all that there will be only one person admitted into Heaven: Wonderful and infalliable YOU!

*****

Did you flunk your math classes? Not to worry. Our Numerology feature will dazzle Catholics with its Biblical code:

Romans 1:13--"I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that" = 316

Mk 2:1--"When he returned to Capernaum after some days it was reported that he was at home." = 273

Daniel 4:7-- "and" = 77

316 + 273 + 77= 666! THE POPE IS THE ANTICHRIST!

*****

Tired of scouring the works of the Early Church Fathers and pulling out only those passages that support your position while ignoring the rest? Let AntiCatbot do it for you! Turn on the ECF Obfuscator and soon those guys will look like a pack of slavering monkeys!

I Remember the day Mrs. K did just that on a 'debate' board. The response was HUH, I didn't quite understand what you mean. Could you explain it a little more? :( :D  They never did catch on.

Yeah, reading Chick tracts is sort of like watching a Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie. If you take them seriously, they're depressing; if you take them as being absolute ludicrous nonsense, they're hilarious. :)

I saw this posted on another board, too. There is one person in particular who posts on another board that I have always wondered whether or not that person's posts were computer generated. Random, vague, very much the same. How many times have we seen this comment:

Most Catholic don't know the difference between 1&2 Chronicles and 1&2 Corinthians.

I wonder how many Fundamentalists could explain the difference between the views of Martin Luther and Ulrich Zwingli? ;)

Of course I know the difference. 1&2 Chronicles are those two boring books in the Old Testament. 1&2 Corinthians are those two boring books in the New Testament. ;)

PS: For the humor impaired, I am joking! Well, about 1&2 Corinthians being boring anyways. :D
