Please pray for me and my family in this stressful time.Right now I don't see any hope of things getting better.My Grandma might have to live in hospice for the rest of her life(which is devastating to me )Then there's the possibility of losing our house because of Medical unless my mom is (God Willing)able to get it transferred to her name.Add to that the cost that we have to pay to have her transported by ambulance to have a CT scan on her brain.I want to scream and yell .I just want my Grandma to get well and come home Why LORD why ?How much more must we endure ?Please LORD i beseech you with every fiber in my being to please heal my Grandma .Please help us in our hour of need In Jesus Name Amen.

Oh my you and your mom have your hands full. Prayer offered for you all.

I went through the Medicare then Medicaid hoops when my father required 24 hour skilled nursing home care.

The law varies from state to state in the US reference the home title transfers. Recommend your mom speak with an eldercare lawyer. From my experience it was well worth the money.
Is there someone else who lives in your grandmother's house? Anyone who relies on her income?

This is what the lawyer will ask and work with.

Good. Whatever you can provide which proves you rely on your grandmother's shelter and income will help.

My experience was with the state of Florida which is elderly friendly. For example, the state could not take all of my father's income and the house because my mother lived in the house and relied on his income for sustenance.

Again this all varies from state to state.
