So you'd say yes, it's applicable for us today?

I believe that it is applicable to we today. The problem is that there are other things in the Bible to read about. I saw both my grandmother and mother in the hospital and then death. The hospital had Cerrelo's INSP network going and about every sermon was on, "Your season of increase." I did not hear the first sermon on repentance the whole time I was there.

So why no to the prosperity gospel?
The so-called /named/ demonic / false / prosperity gospel has destroyed millions of fellowships/ souls/ families/ lives
and kept them from finding true salvation in YHWH'S Kingdom.

I don't think it harmful being blessed as in the OP. But I think that we must consider the whole consul of God. The Apostle Paul told Timothy....

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; -1 Timothy 6:17

“For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Is this applicable to us as individuals? If so, how? If not, why not?
I think it is appropriate to understand that this is God's heart for us all. Yes, the context is His judgments against Judea, but Hebrews also tells us that He disciplines those that He loves.

I would have welcomed a ...... Crusade re-run!
A lot of exposes online have shown those to have been for-profit or for deception or worse for 5 or more decades ..... (no use arguing here though or derailing this thread; just a footnote to look online for nay anyone who wonders)...

Some versions read "plans to prosper". So why no to the prosperity gospel?

We tend to think of "prosper" in terms of material and financial gain (and it is what the false "prosperity gospel" teachers preach ...ever notice how expensive their clothes/cars/homes are? What they preach is prosperous for THEM because they are taking your money!).

Dysert is correct in that, in context, it was speaking of the end of an exilic period.

If we apply it to ourselves today personally, I would take it in spiritual terms, not material/physical/financial.

Did Jesus or any of the apostles teach that following Christ made us wealthy? They themselves lived hand to mouth. We were told by them that we will suffer for His glorious Name, but our rewards would be eternal, not temporal.

So!? You think the false gospel(s) being preached world wide ought to be ALLOWED without comment !? Those that are leading billions to destruction ?!
Billy Graham?
I think your imagination runs away with you. I think you need to pray.

Without Jesus, without salvation by Grace through Faith, without the ministry of Paul, where would we be, looking to Jeremiah?
I still am not getting your point as it relates to the OP.

I think your imagination runs away with you.
I waited years before saying anything after he was exposed as a fraud (completely).
I did not take other people's testimony as truth, by itself,
until he convicted himself without any shame by his own words on life broadcasts.
You can find more than enough online of what he did and taught that was false Gospel from 1948 thru recent years, with no repentance on his part, no shame at his sin and sending others to judgment instead of introducing them to YHWH'S Kingdom / Salvation in Jesus...

You will have to look online though - not derail this thread any more.

Don't worry - if you want to find the truth about this, you will - it is widely published such that with a few simple searches can be found.

I've followed Billy Graham since his very first sermon. Get over it.
