This is the bad fruit produced by feeding on lukewarm preaching. The Word of God, LIVING and ACTIVE TODAY.

'But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith].

Avoid such people and keep far away from them. For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as teachers] in regard to the faith. But they will not get very far, for their meaningless nonsense and ignorance will become obvious to everyone, as was that of Jannes and Jambres.' 2 Timothy 3:1-9

'“Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets].

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’’ Matthew 7:15-23

This passage is talking about believer's, not unbelievers (although it can also apply to them). Learn to spot the real from the fake.

So stop judging by mere appearances and words, and start judging righteous judgement based on lifestyles and actions, this way your vision is not obscured by spiritual blindness.

A pagan term for the justice of God is 'Karma'. This, the HALF-TRUTH that 'Sin is its own punishment' is a major doctrinal error (deception) in the emotionally riveting movie and book 'THE SHACK'

'Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. Galatians 6:7 (AMP)

'The sins of some people are conspicuous, leading the way for them into judgment [so that they are clearly not qualified for ministry]; but the sins of others appear later [for they are hidden and follow behind them]. Likewise, good deeds are quite evident, and those which are otherwise cannot be hidden [indefinitely]. 1 Timothy 5:24-25 (AMP)

'then [in light of the fact that all this is true, be sure that] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the corrupt passions of the sin nature, and despise authority' 2 Peter 2:9-10 (AMP)

A Cutting Word on the religious prophetic. Even the prophetic can become a religious routine apart from intimacy with Christ.

'
CAN THE #PROPHETIC BECOME RELIGIOUS? ABSOLUTELY!

* it can become religious when we don't sense the anointing and authority of the Holy Spirit on it and say, just another prophecy

* it can become religious when it becomes routinized as just another part of the service, after which everyone claps, but by the time the service is over, no one remembers what was prophesied

* it can become religious when we don't bother writing down the prophesies and reviewing them periodically to see if we're on track

* it can become religious when we can almost guess verbatim what the prophet is going to say next because we have heard it a thousand times

* it can become religious when it loses its freshness and is stale

* it can become religious when senior leaders are no longer really concerned with what their prophets are prophesying because they feel their prophets have lost their cutting edge and have nothing serious to say

PLEASE - LET'S NOT ALLOW THE PROPHETIC TO BECOME JUST ANOTHER ROUTINIZED RELIGIOUS RITUAL. IT IS A PRECIOUS GIFT THAT HAS WITHIN IT GOD'S GENIUS TO BUILD PEOPLE - TO BUILD THE CHURCH - AND TO FURTHER HIS KINGDOM PURPOSE FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION.

'So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness' Matt. 23:28

'Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness' Matthew 7:23
1f62e.png

Be ready

'He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth'
1f62e.png

Hypocrisy is the sin of lawlessness. It's far safer to love.

There is no such thing as hypocrisy in the Kingdom. It does not exist.

#Ponder The Parable of the Two Sons.

'But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go.

Which of the two did THE WILL of HIS FATHER?”

They said to Him, “The first.”

Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.' What's the difference between One World Religion and Universalism/Inclusionism? There is no difference. Only the name was changed.

One can have many followers supporting them and 0 of God's favor. Like Pharoah...King Saul...King Nebuchadnezzar. Trendy.

I'm glad someone's still preaching a crucified Messiah and not just the resurrected Messiah.

'Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!

Woe to men mighty at drinking wine,
Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,

Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away justice from the righteous man!' Isaiah 5:20-23

Some knowledge on NEW AGE. Let's stay in the WORD of GOD.

'A number of fundamental beliefs are held by many -- but certainly not all -- NEW AGE followers. Individuals are encouraged to "shop" for the beliefs and practices that they feel most comfortable with:

Monism: All that exists is derived from a single source of divine energy.

Pantheism: All that exists is God; God is all that exists. This leads naturally to the concept of the divinity of the individual, that we are all Gods. They do not seek God as revealed in a sacred text or as exists in a remote heaven; they seek God within the self and throughout the entire universe.

Panentheism: God is all that exists. God is at once the entire universe, and transcends the universe as well.

Reincarnation: After death, we are literally reborn and live another life as a human. This cycle repeats itself many times. This belief is similar to the concept of transmigration of the soul in Hinduism.

Karma: The good and bad deeds that we do adds and subtracts from our accumulated record, our karma. At the end of our life, we are rewarded or punished according to our karma by being reincarnated into either a painful or good new life. This belief is linked to that of reincarnation and is also derived from Hinduism

An Aura is believed to be an energy field radiated by the body. Invisible to most people, it can be detected by some as a shimmering, multi-colored field surrounding the body. Those skilled in detecting and interpreting auras believe that they can diagnose an individual's state of mind, and their spiritual and physical health.

Personal Transformation A profoundly intense mystical experience will lead to the acceptance and use of New Age beliefs and practices. Guided imagery, hypnosis, meditation, and (sometimes) the use of hallucinogenic drugs are useful to bring about and enhance this transformation. Believers hope to develop new potentials within themselves: the ability to heal oneself and others, psychic powers, a new understanding of the workings of the universe, etc. Later, when sufficient numbers of people have achieved these powers, they expect that a major spiritual, physical, psychological and cultural planet-wide transformation will happen.

Ecological Responsibility: A belief in the importance of uniting to preserve the health of the earth, which is often looked upon as Gaia, (Mother Earth) a living entity.

Universal Religion: Since all is God, then only one reality exists, and all religions are simply different paths to that ultimate reality. The universal religion can be visualized as a mountain, with many sadhanas (spiritual paths) to the summit. Some are hard; others easy. There is no one correct path. All paths eventually reach the top. They anticipate that a new universal religion which contains elements of all current faiths will evolve and become generally accepted worldwide.'

'Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.

Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.

But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit]' 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (AMPC)

This passage is talking about relationships, dating, and marriage. Practically applicable to the narcissistic culture prevalent in North America. You can not be unequally yoked in Spirit and expect to have a harmonious relationship or marriage. This is talking about purity and holiness that we accept by living an active faith through Jesus Christ.

'Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?

What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor, And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (AMPC)

'Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].

For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied up until John. And if you are willing to receive and accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come [before the kingdom]. He who has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him consider and perceive and comprehend by hearing.

But to what shall I liken this generation? It is like little children sitting in the marketplaces who call to their playmates, We piped to you [playing wedding], and you did not dance; we wailed dirges [playing funeral], and you did not mourn and beat your breasts and weep aloud.

For John came neither eating nor drinking [with others], and they say, He has a demon!

The Son of Man came eating and drinking [with others], and they say, Behold, a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and [especially wicked] sinners! Yet wisdom is justified and vindicated by what she does (her deeds) and by her children.' Matthew 11:11-19 (AMPC)

Can a believer be oppressed/possessed by a demon?

FINALLY, someone who addresses the real question, what IS a believer?

Good Biblical Teaching on DELIVERANCE. One of the greatest deceptions inadvertently propagated (especially in the Western Church) is that there is no such thing as the devil or a demonic realm. Holiness preaching (TRUTH) is rare, and it's getting rarer!
