Prayers to end abortion

The topic of abortion has been heavy on my heart the past few days and I wanted to make a place where we could all pray for the unborn children and their mothers, and for the mothers who are considering abortion.

Lord, I pray for all those who have performed abortions, had an abortion done, are considering having an abortion, or are an abortion survivor. Let their hearts be turned to You in this time, Father. You formed us in our mother's womb. You formed every hair on our head, every freckle, every fingerprint. We are Your intricate creations. I pray for those who feel no guilt or shame of committing such an act, and that they realize what they did was a crime in Your eyes and that they turn to You. I also pray for those who are dealing with the grief and guilt of an abortion, that You may comfort them and forgive them. Amen

Over the years I have prayed often for abortion to stop. To tell you the truth I did not pray with much faith. It seemed so entrenched and all the politicians seemed so cold and uncaring. Then a miracle happened - and I attribute it way more to others' prayers than my own. Along came a Pro Life President, Trump, who has picked a Supreme Court Judge that seems very likely to be Pro Life, too.

Further it looks like two other Supreme Court Judges may retire soon, leaving room for Trump to appoint two more Pro Lifers. It now seems quite possible that Roe Vs. Wade could be overturned.

Almost as soon as he was inaugurated Trump stopped the funding going to those overseas who were using the money to do abortions. He and Congress are striking out against giving funds to Planned so called Parenthood (really planned infanticide, of course.)
I'm amazed! It just goes to show that prayer works and we shouldn't give up no matter how hopeless things may seem!
