Jesus hates religion, even if you call it church.

We see a theme all thru the bible, of seeds, hers, his. Then of evil vs good. Gods people vs Heathens. God's chosen ones vs those God hated.

We see Jesus saying (to those who thought they knew Him) depart from me I never knew you.

I believe a separation is coming. This separation will allow those who are OF CHRIST, his body plural to be revealed.

In Acts we see the local and universal church together for the very first time. Is it possible this will happen again.

We can make anything religious, even Christianity. Now there is a mixture, in our midst, but it will not always be so.

Just remember JESUS hates sin , even if the world calls it lifestyle or love.
OH , their is a gathering already began. All religions
will unite and find common ground in interfaith. But sadly this is of satan.
Let me hear you say interfaith is of the devil, so I can be assured you know it is and wont
no part of it.

Yeah, those Pharisees thought they could be good enough for God. They couldn't know him with an attitude like that:
Yep, God hates religion, but loves Christianity

This false teaching of hating Religion is both ugly and unbiblical. Nowhere in Scripture does God say he hates ALL religion. Scripture does say that God approves of True Religion. ( James 1:27 ) The people who keep pushing this false doctrine may find themselves in Hell where this doctrine came from. God does not Hate Christianity but he does hate false teaching.

You are taking me too literally...Maybe your name fits your thought process. Try to see it this way. God wants relationship, he wants the gospel to be simple and understood even by children, we are the ones with a problem, formats, creeds, religion, doctrines, denominations, selfish ideas, kingdoms and churches built for US...You see my point???

No not necessarily, I was mainly commenting on the Heresy of God hating religion. It is not wise to say something about God when he has never made that statement. Putting words in God's mouth is what false teachers do.

Again I stand by my statement that God never said he hates religion. Christianity is a religion that God created and he does not hate it. He may hate some of the actions done in the name of Christianity but not the religion itself. God also created the Church and if you attack the true Church you attack the body of Christ and God himself.

Christianity is a relationship but it more than a relationship, it is a religion, and a lifestyle. The Bible contains the rules and precepts by which we are to worship God in the way he wants to be worshiped. The Bible also has the moral Code by which we are to live our life, not the life we want to live but the life that God's wants us to live. The relationship is not more important than the worship or the lifestyle. They are all equally important to God. That fact is you can't have a relationship with God without the Church and obedience. ( 1 John 2:3-11 ) ( Ephesians 5:26-27 )

My name came from a nickname that a student gave me during a time I was a public school teacher (Retired now). I was telling a story about my time as a missionary to Russia, the student said Russia is a land of dictators so you must be a dictator too the class laughed and the nickname stuck.

God hates religion, but He loves people.

"This false teaching" <> as a statement <> seems to be a religious statement and an immoral choice .....

Yes, I read the rest of your post. It may be partly right.

The title of this thread is questionable, however. To say that "Jesus hates religion, even if you call it church" stands in opposition to the New Testament in which we find Jesus himself saying that he'd founded a church.
Not really.
In this thread alone,
let alone in this forum/ site,
how many different "definitions"(or ways being used) can you find for the word "church",
and how many of those are contradictory to each other,
and how many are contradictory to God's Word ?

Please state in God's Word where God says this? Please give Book, Chapter, and verse. I can all ready tell you there is nothing in God Word that says God hates religion. God does say he approves of Religion. ( James 1:27 )

What makes you think God hates religion? God personally designed a religion for the Children of Israel back at Mt. Sinai. Jesus himself practiced that religion. Jesus also said he was going to establish a church. This church had rites like baptism, communion, ordination, anointing of the sick... It had a hierarchy of deacons, presbyters, and bishops... It had a God, prayers, a sacred book... IOW it was a religion. So tell me again why you think God hates religion?

The separation of the wheat and the tares is what you are generally referring to I think.
The thing about them is that they look very similar. The two groups are right next to each other yet still really don't know who is who.
ROMANS 8:19 NLT...For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.

This looks to me like it might be a surprise when we find out that some folks are God's children and some are not. How can this be? I think it is mainly because organized religion creates tenets and practices and certain language and all of that. Anybody can join a church and blend in if they just learn the rules and play the part.
So take two church people....what could make one God's child and one not when they look and talk the same? If I had to guess, I would say the difference between the two is that one person has God's love within them and they actually exhibit that by the way they treat others and think of them. The other is rather pursuing recognition, business contacts, fame, money, influence and everything else associated with the self or the ego.

It seemed like you might be suggesting that people involved in organized religion might be the bad guys and that you can be a good guy if you get out. There are cases where that is true, but for the most part you can be one of His children no matter what group you associate with. They are mixed in everywhere.

Just a thought.

Of course, everyone who rants against the tares/goats thinks they are a sheep/wheat. It is everyone else who is damned.
Good point.
I guess the next step is to ask yourself "what makes me a wheat and what makes them a tare"?
I think the answer is far too often is that people often think that the tares are those who believe the wrong things.
