People may say what they want, but Trump's Facebook posts are very inspirational. They help me to keep trudging along and dreaming big.

A new friend has asked me to read some of his writing for a critique and to tell him what I think. And from what I've read so far it's going to be difficult to get thru it. Maybe I will refer Saucy to him. Sometimes I have trouble finishing fine works of authors in their own right. The trick will be giving him a critique that doesn't just take the air out of him. But he also needs to know that it's going to take a lot of rework before anything he has is publishable.

Welp, I just found out that I lost my medicaid benefits and have nil when it comes to insurance now. That's okay. I like it when these type of things happen. They cause me to trust God more and live a life worthy of the Lord providing for my needs and doing exceedingly more than I can ever ask or think.

Ugh insomnia again

Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of that mirth is heaviness. Proverbs 14:13 This is one of the verses that I can most relate to. I may appear always happy on here but I'm more like a sad clown. I think I use humour to distract me from the crap in my life and how sad my life is. It's like therapy for me. I also don't like to be serious here. Whenever I try to be serious, I feel like I come of as a jerk, even though I try not to come off that way. I don't think the Catholic members in the GT forum like me very much...
It will be my birthday soon and I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm reminded Jesus started His ministry when He was in His thirties and Joseph started ruling alongside Pharaoh when he was thirty, so this gives me hope my life can still change for the better, that God will make me useful in some way, instead of me feeling useless like I usually feel. While there is life, there is still hope. A live dog is better than a dead lion, as the Scriptures say.

There's a HUGE motorcycle rally going on in my town, starting tonight and through to Sunday. Just watched a huge caravan of bikes go sailing down the main street that leads into town...from my living room window. Thankfully I'm not going to bed yet...or else all those bikes would be keeping me up and making me one very grumpy Squeaks.
